Re: Congratulations Graham & Kathleen!

Congratulations. All of the congratulations. As empath said though, how on earth did people not see this coming? I've been waiting for this announcement for years - if I'd had any other LRR fans in the area I'd have put together a betting pool. I wish the two of you all the happiness that the world ...

Re: Desert Quotes thread

I intend to save up some moneys for next year, about 10k or so, an do prettymuch the same thing. If I see something I like, bid until I feel the people after me are about out of money and then just be like "Bid 5 dollars more, ya know what, that's it, that's me done." and if they take it,...

Re: Unofficial Desert Bus Challenges Conversation Thread OF

I can now sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep . Well, after I have a chance to upload the last of the Desert Bus videos. Faster Gunner! Faster! I want to re-watch the scarf auction! :P :D Also, brilliant work on that. Getting just about the entire thing up on the net is a huge undertaking - a...

Re: Desert Bus 6 Appreciation Thread

So much congrats to the crew, and huge props to everyone who bid on auctions or even just donated. Brilliant year as usual - kinda sad that I missed no. 5, but life's life. Hopefully I should be able to stick around here on the forums again without RL dragging me away kicking and screaming. So start...

Re: Desert Quotes thread

Well...I have to admit, this was a damn good run. Been quite a while since I've been back here - life's been...difficult, but it felt real good to get back to Desert Bus this year. Oh, and spike the auctions. Maybe by next year people'll learn that most of the times I bid, I'm trolling to drain bank...

In the random event that Levi or Josh looked at this before they got on Skype, I also just like to keep the thread going.

And if that doesn't satisfy, I'm talking to myself :P

Re: Mann Co-Don't join this game, I only have 3 pizza rolls left

Well I think last night's session was insane but so much fun. I'm sorry about taking so long, but I wanted to see if we could force the thing back indirectly. As we couldn't and we are on the clock here D-Darsh, Gaspode, Gordon and Rikadyn got to see what happens when the oracle decides violence is ...

Re: Let's Play Minecraft

Items on your person and in any chests vanish when you log out on multiplayer, hence why there is a mod (that I think Fugi is going to install in the near future) that allows you to spawn any materials/items you want/need. Once we get that we won't need to rely on Fugi being online to give us everyt...

Re: Let's Play Minecraft

Well I've got a nice little base built into a hillside with a 2x2 (that was the biggest the place could take) mineshaft extending all the way down to the adminium. It was already on an island, but I cut myself off a little more with a 3 block wide moat that draws from the sea. I've got plenty of san...

Re: Let's Play Minecraft

It's actually more like £8.50 - as of today's exchange rates at least.

I've played around with the free version and just went "what the hell, I really enjoy this and it's a good timewaster and the alpha looks fricken awesome" and bought it just now.

Re: Mann Co-Don't join this game, I only have 3 pizza rolls left

If you're referring to me here (and I really would expect you to) that's basically a serious part of my character history. Her entire purpose in this reality is to make sure a certain thing happens. She will do everything within her power to cause this. And that's a big part of RPing in my opinion, ...

Re: Harry Potter is ending...

In all honesty, I'm glad. The series has run its course. I doubt it will ever loose its power to the current generation - and they'll probably pass it on as such things go - and it will remain forever within - dare I say it - Fanfiction, but as a published series DH Part 2 should signify the end of ...

Re: The Mixed Emotion Thread

I have a question that I would like to put to you older and - hopefully - more experience people. I have met an attractive young woman, only a year younger than me. There are very clearly sparks between us and we are just short of actually going out (currently at what I think people call 'Seeing eac...
