Re: The depressing depression thread
I know how you feel, Memo, on the religion side..I've been thinking of getting into buddhism in order to get towards my spiritual side but really, I'm not even sure if it's worth it. I know what it's like to get depressed to the point of not caring about personal hygiene. My room is a mess, filled w...

Re: Crusader Kings II (and General Paradox Thread)
And I'm interested to know what exactly "Customisable Kingdoms" entails for the CKII expansion. If I had to guess it would be a lot like ruler designer from the name, basically you can customize any kingdom with whatever name, culture, religion and whatever else you want but this is just ...

The idea of what is a Video Game.
There is much discussion around games like Gone Home and Dear Esther that questions their legitimacy, what in your opinion my fellow gamers is a video game? Personally I feel Gone Home and Dear Esther are games, there is interaction and you control a character, they may not be like most games in the...

So recently Steam created the "Steam Curator" feature which allows people, critics and reviewers to recommend games in the style of a store page, they give their views on a game in a description and talk about the pros and cons which I think is a fantastic idea. My idea though is a Loading...

I'm hoping Graham some day takes my recommendation, it would be so awesome to see the game I suggested, especially because I know Alex would love it.

I've been playing Europa Univeralis 4 again while using a modified version of the Pax Sinica mod and I am proud to say I built a huge super power out of one small Japanese daimyo, I control all of east Asia, most of Africa and India, I have several colonial nations and I recently beat the hell out o...

Yea I do agree with you but...it's a game, you know? Sometimes, especially if it's minor, a game doesn't have to be accurate. I know it's a poor argument to make and just seems lazy but a long lasting can opener wouldn't be fun, my family is still using a can opener we've had when I was a kid. Those...

While Scotland isn't independent in real life I'm currently making them strive for independence in Europa Univeralis 4...then again I'm playing as the Celestial Empire of Date who used to be a one province Japanese Daimyo and is now the greatest super power in the world that controls most of Africa,...

Well can't a blade's condition get worse if exposed to too much cold or something? We also don't know how long the blade has been exposed to the cold, how much it was used before it was found etc, etc.

Anyway, today is a watch+play right? I think I remember Graham or Alex say it was pushed back to this week but I can't remember.

Re: Scottish Independence
I remember hearing that if Scotland goes independent they'll try to be viewed as a Scandinavian country, not sure what that's going to do for them. Another thing is that Scotland does have oil refineries in it's waters so that could either be used by the oil companies to stop them from leaving or it...

I'll give you the boyfriend part but she did a lot of stuff wrong. Most notably she claimed to have been raided by wizardchan (which essentially started all of this) without proof and it escalated when members of wizardchan tried to defend themselves but ended up getting attacked more. Then you have...
