That's great. I had heard about these shows, but nothing about the story behind them.
You're right about the similarity with Desert Bus. The eighty-two year old guy he mentioned could've been a DB viewer; 'I keep watching beacuse something might happen - but it probably won't.'

Re: Let's NOPE pre-voting
Not sure this is the right place for this question, but does anyone have an idea of what game Alex will be playing in a few hours time?

Re: Interest in starting an Online LRR DnD group.
I'm interested in this.
I'm a complete D+D n00b, btw, but it seems like fun.
I'm free at weekends and possibly Thursday or Friday too. My timezone's GMT +0.

Re: Books you're reading now
I read Slaughterhouse-Five pretty recently, I liked it a lot. I'll recommend the book I've just finished; Infinite Jest by David Foster Wallace. It's not an easy or light read by any means, but it's an absolutely brilliant science fiction/comedy take on modern entertainment, and it very smartly add...

Re: Books you're reading now
Slaughterhouse-Five by Vonnegut. I'd like to read more science fiction (I am open to recommendations ) and I want to get hold of some of Asimov's Foundation series.
There are a few other books I began recently, too, which unfortunately I've had to temporarily abandon.

Re: Introduce yourselves! (A friendly topic for new members)
Hello! I'm Simon (aka Aodhan) and I'm currently studying at a university in the UK. I heard about LRR about four years back from a link posted on another forum, and have been following the weekly videos semi-regularly since then. I also started watching a few of the LRL streams recently, though only...
