Re: Sidewalk Slam Ep7 - Payback 2016
See the takeaway I get from the Charity/PSA promos are that the WWE thinks it's important enough that Everyone does it regardless of characterization, because there is a minimum baseline for everyone's Character such that they will all do this type of work. I actually appreciate that, so while you a...

Re: Sidewalk Slam Ep7 - Payback 2016
You have to disconnect Charity/PSA work from a Wrestlers Character, I really don't wee why Heels can't do good things for other people, especially if they are popular. Heels only screw over other wrestlers, not the public. I think the idea is that these people fight dirty, not that they are sociopat...

Re: Gaming General Chat Thread
I would Advise changing your armor setup. If you are light or medium armor, go grab Havel's and put it on. If you are heavy armor Sword n Board try fastrolling and 2 handing. That's a good idea if you are really having trouble on a boss and don't see a way through it. Change things up and fight them...

Re: Gaming General Chat Thread
I don't know if it is PC only but there is an option in Dark Souls called "Camera wall auto-recovery" turn that shit OFF. 90% of all camera complaints are eliminated if you do that, I have no earthly idea why it is enabled by default...

How is this functionally different from a 6th color of mana? That's EXACTLY what this is. I don't mind it so much given they are errataing all previous colorless sources to produce it, but it IS a 6th Color. It requires specific resources to produce this exact type of mana to pay for costs of abilit...

Re: Current Musical Obsession!
For Symphonic Metal I recommend any Nightwish album before "Dark Passion Play." Metallica's "S&M" album is one of my favorites, it's a bunch of their greatest hits rescored by Michael Kamen and played alongside the San Francisco Symphony. Epica's "Classical Conspiracy&qu...

Re: Current Musical Obsession!
So my brother invited me to a concert recently, Blind Guardian whom I have heard of because they pop up in some of my Pandora stations occasionally. I liked what I heard well enough, but wasn't interested in spending money to go see them, but for $30 I was in. They Kicked ASS. They played fully 4 so...

Re: Favorite and Least Favorite Boss Fights
Least Favorite: Dr Wily from MegaMan II. Why does only the bubble gun hurt him? Because otherwise the player would never use it... But right before Wily is the Boss Rush, and I loved it, you got to use all your super sweet upgrades and facestomp the bosses one more time. Favorite: Shadow Link from Z...

Bronze lands. Riffing on Turn 3 being 3rd place. I think you have to reference 3rd turn somehow if you want a 1 word antecedent.

Re: LRRcast - Spoilers Part 2
Regarding the difference between Spoilers in Sports and TV Shows. Sports are still live events with a specific date and time where they take place. It is culturally acknowledged that the game is happening NOW, so after NOW ends, if you missed it, that's on you. TV Shows, especially in the last 10-15...

Diablo III new Season.
Basic Question: is anyone else playing? I'm currently running a Barb, because I find it far and away the most fun to play. The redesigned sets seem pretty good, not sure how I feel about Ancient Items. But I LOVE the new WhirlWind set they added. It's easily my second favorite Skill. And I love that...

If you don't plan on using Sunlight Spear I would go with Princess covenant. I always wanted to try the better version of Replenishment. Side note: I Really wish Replenishment and Sunlight Blade had more charges. I beat O&S and have gone into the DLC area now, working my way to Manus. After putt...

Re: Dark Souls Trading, Transfers, and Talking.
I've tested the damage I have available. Greatsword of Artorias is my best bet. Unfortunately did not pick up a Smith box in NG+. Managed to beat them though, stopped summoning because of humanity drain so no sunlight medal for me :( I want to collect 10 medals so I can join Darkwraiths for the armo...

Re: Dark Souls Trading, Transfers, and Talking.
So, I've temporarily shelved my second character and went back to progressing through NG+. I am currently at O&S again, and since I already have Smough's Gear I am trying to kill him first, I had to stop playing last night because I was getting too frustrated with the corpse run and the occasion...

Someone ought to suggest to the creators that they turn it into a Spy Game. No second jobs, rather they have a Cover Job/Identity so you can keep those cards and if they have any bonuses associated with them then you character obviously has those due to his extensive experience with whatever the cov...

You need mods to make the game work properly on PC. DSFix is the most important of these. Every mod that improves functionality interfaces with DSFix. I know Alex mentioned DSFix several times in his earlier streams, which is how I knew to download it. http://www.nexusmods.com/darksouls/mods/19 If y...

Re: Dark Souls Trading, Transfers, and Talking.
I am currently wearing Orensteins full set on my second Character. Strength build so far but I put most of my points in Endurance and Vit, only at 24 Str. For being such a large dude Smough has a FUCKED UP Hitbox some times. I grabbed the Zweihander early on and killed Ceaseless right after Queelag,...

Re: Dark Souls Trading, Transfers, and Talking.
I'm curious as to what everyone's favorite armor and/or weapons are? My Helm choice would have to be Gargoyles it both looks good and has Great stats. Far and away my favorite armor is Black Knights chest, I think that is hands down the best looking chestpiece. I don't particularly care about gloves...

Re: Dark Souls Trading, Transfers, and Talking.
Well, I finally beat Gwynn last night, it was a good fight, very similar to Artorias but more relentless, didn't take me as many tries as Artorias did though. Once I figured out how easy he was to stagger I got in a lot more damage, and I gave up Ninja Roll for Medium Roll in mostly Heavy Armor. Bei...

Re: Choose your hell
I went with Spiders, it was that narrowly over Kicking. Pain goes away but Spiders don't really bother me so that clinched it. Unless the spiders are spinning webs indoors that I have to clean up, I hadn't considered that. Oh well, my vote is locked in. Edit: Food, Music, and Rick-rolling all seem t...
