Re: Quick Technical Question
I'd suggest the GTX 660. But however, I'm not entirely convinced the fault is in the video card - it might be in the power supply instead.

You should just rename Loading Time James Time, because James seems to be stealing the show every time.

Re: Windows 8 vs Windows 7
I've had little experience with windows 8 but I will say this: The start menu was a pretty customizable centralised collection of all you programs. Whereas the "Interface Formerly Known As Metro" is a complete mess that never works the way you want it, and requires a lot of scrolling arou...

Re: Windows 8 vs Windows 7
8 requires white-listing for applications, meaning you can't install anything that Microsoft hasn't manually approved. This means, for example, no Minecraft. 7 and below: crappy but has Minecraft 8: Worse and no Minecraft ...yeah Mara. That is entirely untrue. Microsoft requires whitelisting only f...

Punch Quest (iOS)
There's really no words to adequately describe this game. It's an endless runner but it's an action game about punching things but it's a hat simulator but it's awesome? On the upside, it's free, with optional IAP (and by this I mean you can fairly easily get everything but some cosmetic items for f...

Re: A New Maiden
Well, I would like an aluminum maiden with an eight of an inch bronze coating over it - it combines all the good aspects of portability, durability, respect to tradition and it is a subtle - not ostentatious - display of wealth. I would also like to order it with the double-hipster option - filled w...

Super Hexagon is probably going to be GOTY 2012. It's iOS only for now; apparently PC and Mac (probably Steam) version coming at some point.
It has an incredible degree of One More Turn and it's very possibly the hardest game I've ever experienced.

You might have heard about it.
I have a warning to bear.
Do NOT get this game unless you have a weekend free. It's chunk-sized match-3 with inducing the worst case of one more turn I have ever seen.
Fortunately, fixed length, so there's an end, at least.

It's like all those daft rules blokes come up with to define who's gay and who isn't; it doesn't matter if you wear a tight white teeshirt and a gold stud earring. The only thing that could possibly designate you as gay is having sex with other men . I take major offense to this. I have plentiful (...
