Re: Dragon Age: Origins

I found it really hard the first time through as well, with Alistair dieing all the time. On my 3rd time round I found it much easier and have been playing on Hard with little problem. I think it's because I had the other damage dealer to attack Alistair's target so they die quicker & have him u...

Re: Dragon Age: Origins

I'm currently on my 3rd playthrough of this & although I got it on the 360 which has crappy combat it's still a lot of fun. Am a two handed warrior this time round and have found that this is the most fun class by far. :D It's not perfect by any means, and wouldn't have chosen it as game of the ...

Re: That One Album.

I own a lot of records so it's tough for me to choose but I'll probably go with Last Night by His Name Alive. It's one of the few albums I can listen to from start to finish over & over. The singer has the most soulful & beautiful voice I've heard & the guitars are so smooth. Guaranteed ...

Re: What we can expect on The Escapist

Oh, come on, the ZP theme is alright. But LRR videos won't be getting a theme song, because they already have one. And I hope that if the Escapist must put their logo screen before the videos, they use the old one with the film burning, or at least mute out the 'Ha'. I mean, god damn, what mentally...

Re: What we can expect on The Escapist

I thought it was just me who hated the "Ha!" so much. :D Hopefully we won't get an Ian Dorsch generic rock theme as well. I enjoyed ZP a lot more when they had different music each week.

Re: What we can expect on The Escapist

The only thing that really annoys me about The Escapist is the "Ha!" sound at the start of every video.

I'll throw in:

Plug In Baby & New Born. Origin of Symmetry is still my favourite album by them.

Also I'll throw in Uno. I went to see them in 1997 off the back of hearing this song on Radio 1.

Re: Longest You've Played A Game Non-Stop

Championship Manager 01/02. 21 hours. I made myself give up video games during my final exams at school so was desperate to play it and totally lost track of time.

For any football (soccer) fan these games are more addictive than WoW, which I also used to play.

Re: What is the best/worst movie of the last ten years?

These kind of questions are impossible so I'll limit myself to 5 of each. Best: Amores Perros (probably my favourite film ever) Gladiator Hotel Rwanda Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers City Of God. Worst (that I had the misfortune of seeing): Alien vs Predator Revolver Lesbian Vampire Killers Vanill...

Re: LRRcast Marathon

I'm currently watching the videos & then listening to the relevant podcast every chance I get. I'm up to Somebody Has To Change. Only 2 years worth to go before I'm up to date!

I'm playing GTA4 at the moment so listen to the LRRCast instead of the in game radio.

Re: Operation: Flashpoint: Dragon Rising

I'm looking to pick this up soon when I have more time to play. The first OF game was amazing ( I highly recommend you get it). There was this one level where you are alone in a forest behind enemy lines & have to make it to the evac point. Probably the best (& scariest) level I've seen in a...

Really looking forward to this. I hope it's up to the standards of AVP2.

And why did the idiots who made the AvP movies not just use the plot from AVP2? It would have worked perfectly!

My gamertag is M1ke Unplugged.

Not really playing any multiplayer at the moment but if someone has a spot free to do the L4D2 campaigns on Expert that'd be cool as no one I know plays it.

'Sick Muse' by Metric YAY! YOU KNOW OF METRIC! I thought I was the only one! While it's cliche, my favourite song of theirs is 'Help I'm Alive', 'Satellite Mind' comes in a close second. This is one of the bands I found through David Letterman, so I am quite grateful for the band segment of his sho...

Hi, I'm Mike. I discovered LRR through The Escapist & am now working my way through the video & LRR Cast archives in reverse. I'm obsessive like that!
