Re: MtG Challenge

Back then my favourite things to search were a classic combo: Opalescence, Doubling Season and Followed Footsteps. I also include both Words of War and Words of Wilding to stop me having to drawer, as well as Psychic Possession. Then there was Dovescape and Night of Souls' Betrayal, Ice Cave and man...

MtG Challenge

I was just looking through the video archives on youtube and came across TTC - Theorizing Mill, and the discussion of the Epic cards during the Snap-A-Pack portion. In that video the Card Enduring Ideal was pretty much slammed, but back when Kamigawa was out I created a deck around it. It had some f...

It's an... interesting approximation of a west country accent. Not annoying enough to be authentic though, I'm afraid.

Re: TTC 107 - Standard/Highlander Deck Tech

Nice decks, interesting to see standard sacrifice-tech in Mardu, when most people would tinker with the BFZ event deck and be lazy in Golgari. I'm guessing it's too big and cumbersome, but I'd love to hear that Alex thought of something cool to do with Sekki, Seasons' Guide in the Highlander list. S...

Re: TTC 103 - BFZ Prerelease

I put together the same deck (I think) as Cam: Grixis do nothing, since I mainly opened eldrazi (small, mid and large) and some funky spells in those colours. I went one and three, the one being the by in the last round. Won one solitary game out of eight. It did not feel good.

Re: TTC 100 - PAX Prime 2015 Recap

I'd like to propose calling them Guiness lands, but I understand that the reason might not be immediately obvious to everyone for the same reason as the 'discount double check'.

I might be reading the cards wrong, but doesn't obs of warding almost completely shut down Chandra, Fire of Kaladesh?

Re: TTC 95 - Mailbag

On the subject of favourite basic land art, I'd point people's attention to the lands from Kamigawa block, and particularly the mountains. Building up one large, pretty epic mountain landscape with the four different arts was sweet. I wish they'd do that again.

Re: TTC 92 - Origins Planeswalkers

I think there's one thing about the creature Nissa that wasn't menioned, possibly because the LRR guys were trying not to refer to the other spoiled cards in the set. While the other four are humans, Nissa is an elf, and something we have seen is some indication of elf tribal being a thing in origin...

Re: Feed Dump 209 - UK Tourism Edition

The thing about those names is, most of them were probably named before those words were anything close to being considered rude. Still, no one likes to make fun of those names more than we Britts do. As for the road name in Kent, as someone who went to college not far from there, I can report that ...
