Re: Commander/EDH Deck Talk
Here's a challenge I've wanted to do for some time, but never got to: In one of my local play groups, Wish cards are allowed to draw from your entire collection. With that in mind, design a deck that can recur/copy enough Wish effects to win with Battle of Wits. Fwiw, I think the much easier way to...

Re: Visiting Vancouver
Miku was recommended for us, but we ended up at Tsuki, which was phenomenal (and fairly reasonably priced). I also had Itoga highly recommended.
If you're in to mid-range steak and similar, Cactus Club had some amazing stuff, and a sweet harbour view.

Re: Pro Wrestling Discussion Thread
Yeah, I really disliked the entire event top to bottom, with the exception of the Cruiserweight match (Seriously, Neville/Gallagher are amazing), and the Tag match. KO/Goldberg was dumb, Roman/BRAAAAAAAAAAUN was bad (this may be my dislike of Roman colouring my opinion), and Bayley/Charlotte just so...

Re: LoadingReadyLive Ep18 ??? (A) Let Go
This is the first LRL in a few that felt like every single segment was a home run. Job interview Against Humanity was so good that I had to go back through the VOD to see all the jokes I missed.

Re: Visiting Vancouver
I was just there two weeks back for the Magic Grand Prix. Depending on what you're in to, I can give my tiny experience. My friend and I both like craft beers and breweries, so we went to a few really cool places. Alibi Room over in Gastown, and Hearthstone Brewpub both had amazing quality stuff. We...

Man, Miz cut an awesome promo on Cena on SD this week. One of the best segments in a while (although the Festival of Friendship was amazing as well)

Bit surprised that Rollins came back as a heel, super excited to see him back and doing stuff. Same with Enzo. I popped hard when Big Cass stopped at the top of the ramp and Enzo ran out.

All I want is for a Roman Reigns match to not end with him taking a bunch of match-ending moves, kicking out, and then winning immediately after. I don't care if he wins every match, but at least make it look like a real fight, not "Oh, he punched the ground so he's hulked out and can't be beat...

I totally understand cutting some of the personal streams, and I'm fully in favor of adding more fun streams, but I wish it wasn't just a sudden smash-cut to a bunch of experiments. I'm also going to miss GPLP a lot. Excited to see how you go about the non-gaming streams. Ian's building-stuff-corner...

I had a really hard time making out Richter in this one. I know it was an intentional choice to have the "Repeater Antenna" be worse quality, but I really struggled to get his dialogue. Wound up taking two or three re-listens to take it all in.

Seems like it was a decent Raw last night, hasn't convinced me to resubscribe to the network though. Cesaro returned, AJ is #1 contender, Enzo and Big Cass debut on the main roster, same for Apollo Crews and (officially) Corbin. Ryder lost his title already. From the sounds of things, Roman...

I would unashamedly mark the hell out if Mick Foley came back, even if it was just as a counterpoint to Ric Flair. I love that hairy gorilla.

I wonder if this has anything to do with the Taker/Shane fight. If Shane's winning, he might bring the new belt out to be "the first of many positive changes"

99% of the time it's awesome in there. Usually only one or two spots where people get to be chunguses. This week it happened to be in interactions with more prominent names, so it was really visible.

Re: Introduce yourselves! (A friendly topic for new members)
Hey folks, I'm Brock. I'm a 25-year-old teacher in Northern Saskatchewan. From northern Ontario originally, did a year in the UK after graduating university, then a year up on a fly-in-only reserve last year in Ontario (which is when I got hooked on LRR streams). This year I moved here, teaching Hig...

Re: Venting Thread Delta - Now With Easy to Follow Rules
I taught in the UK two years ago. I was seriously considering going back because of how much I loved the people and country, but I just can't do that to myself. I have had my issues with where I teach now, but at least I'm not going to be actively worked to death here. I feel horrible for anyone goi...
