Re: LoadingReadyLIVE [the show, not the channel]

For the Powerpoint segment, I felt like Beej's part went on too long but otherwise, it was really funny to me, especially Kathleen's. Also, the obsolete formats segment was really interesting to me since I've always been fascinated by old formats. Somewhat related, this website may be relevant to ot...

Re: The General Chat thread

I don't know what it is, but watching both Loading Time and Graham's recent vlog makes me want to get back into creating video and audio content again. I don't exactly know *what* I want to do just yet, though.

Arclight_dynamo, the points you raised aren't necessarily things that I have thought about before, but they make a lot of sense. I mean, you wouldn't run a marathon not having run a single mile in your life, so why would anything else in life be any different?

Retro Games Collections?

Wasn't sure whether this should go into the Video Games General Chat Thread or be posted as a separate thread, but I'm cautiously posting it as separate. I was wondering if you guys have any older/"retro" game consoles/games/etc still lying around, and if so what kinds? What is your favori...

Re: Gaming General Chat Thread

Finally got playing some stuff in my Steam backlog, mostly Shovel Knight and Kero Blaster, but hopefully I'll get to Undertale and Hatoful Boyfriend sometime before summer ends. Shovel Knight is fantastic, super-fun, and just enough challenge for me that it doesn't frustrate me. I like Kero Blaster ...

Agreed. I love the variety, and especially the "game show" segments because they are absolutely hilarious to me.

Re: The Tatami Galaxy Simulwatch thread

I really like the art style and the character design for this in terms of the fact that all of the characters look unique. Also, I like the usage of color in terms of the fact that it looks colorful, yet the colors are limited, if that makes any sense. The plot so far looks interesting. Looking forw...

The essay on loneliness really spoke to me on a personal level, in terms of the difference between what I expected from friendship and what I've actually gotten from it. I really dig longform stuff in general because I find it easier to communicate my thoughts and explore concepts when I have ample ...
