Re: The voxlunch stream shelter thread
Alright, I've got to get this off my chest. First: The intent, or rather the percieved intent of The Stream Shelter seems to have been skewed. Alex himself said The Shelter wasn't meant to be a place for people to bury their heads in the sand, nor a place where dissenting opinions aren't allowed: ra...

Re: The voxlunch stream shelter thread
Jesus Christ this has gotten absolutely absurd. This isn't even a discussion with a goal anymore, if it ever was. This just seems like stubborn rams bashing their heads together for spectacle and taking pride in being aggressive and dismissive, with a few bystanders who'd like some kind of resolution.

I'm in Pawleys Island, SC. Anyone needs to talk, or just get away from people yelling at them about mumble mumble bootstraps and slamming your forehead into your problems without reprive or communal assistance, I'm with you. Whether certain individuals want to admit it or not, we all need some amoun...

Re: The voxlunch stream shelter thread
Wow, it's pretty tough to believe the amount of salt and negativity coming out of this community. Especially in reaction to people trying to create a safe place for others to calm down, feel safe, digest, and figure out how to move forward. I'm pretty okay with some folk in this thread not contribut...

Mayhaps there is a slightly different opinion among the LRR crew, but as an older brother 10 years ahead of my sister, if I found out she was a prostitute, I would be inconsolable.

Oh. Before I forget. Didn't mean to sound all "This is dumb, I'm going home!" I just want to play a system I already know (and love) than try and learn one that I will likely never see again. You guys have fun. ^_^ Holler when the D&D/Pathfinder starts. No worries, I'm pretty sure tha...

Pokemon Trading Card Game was enjoyable. But since you have the online version now, it's kinda obsolete. Unless you want to play it vanilla. The Pokemon TGC for GBC couldn't be less obsolete. How else am I gonna listen to these AMAZING tunes? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CRbAzmA889c https://www....

Backlighting a GBA: GB, GBC, & GBA game suggestions?
So I decided to backlight an original GBA. Taking the screen from the 2nd gen GBA SP and putting it in a glorious purple GBA with an adapter. All the beauty of the super bright SP+ screen, the form factor of the original GBA, and a real 3.5mm headphone jack. I now need to fill out my library over th...

Wow. The sad part is how few of the listed games I've played so far. Bioshock 1 Orange Box! (Not Halflife 1) Portal rules!! Doom 1 Super Mario 3, World, and Yoshi's Island, and a BIT of 64 Kirby, but the one for the GBA EVERY SMASH BROS! lol Every Halo FTW Zelda (Ocarina, Majora, and Link to the Pas...

More or less new to gaming.
Unfortunately, I am only 17, and was as a child, never allowed to do any real gaming. I've had a snes, a n64, a 360, and the last generation. I've never done any computer gaming, or pre-nes. I have a 360, PS2, Gamecube, DS, Mac, and a windows partition. I can run emulators, and my question is this. ...
