Lord Carol, standing by!
I'm certainly up for whatever surfaces - I'm based in Wiltshire, so London would be much better for me transport wise, but northern locations are not out of the question.
In terms of activities, chilled out video/stream watching, MTG and gaming sounds like a solid plan.

Dear Dr Paul,
Thankyou for including "I watch magical ponies FOR SCIENCE!" with my My Little Bear shirt!
What is the oddest request you've had from a fan?

Not usually. If they're below a certain value, you can declare them as a Gift, and that normally sees them through fine. At least that's the case in the UK.
I once ordered a buttload of stuff from Valve, but Revenue & Customs held it at the border until I paid another £30 VAT... sad times.

Re: My Little Bear shirt - any UK runners received yet?
Today is my birthday, so I went to check the post, and guess what was there... http://img137.imageshack.us/img137/9375/poniesu.jpg Only a little late, but thanks to Paul for the bonus message, the LRR crew, and grudgingly, Canada Post. It just had to be the day after I ask about it though...

Hmm, I guessed that something might be up. It may have something to do with what Kathleen put in with my previous order:

(Yes, that's now framed and hanging on my wall - thanks Kathleen!)

My Little Bear shirt - any UK runners received yet?
Hello!
Just a quick survey of UK based runners - have you received your My Little Bear shirt yet?
Mine was shipped back on the 20th of March by whatever the cheapest Canada Post shipping mode is, and it still hasn't arrived.
Anyone else had any luck/in the same boat?
Cheers,
Lord Carol

Re: GPLP: X-Men Destiny
I decided (foolishly) to get hold of a cheap copy of Destiny and do an X-men run just see how it compares - with Chad Backpack (Adrian) and the Shadow Matter build. (Note, you turn into a flying shadow demon at the end!) The differences are minor, at best. The only difference when you make the Broth...

Re: Magic The Gathering Online Names List
Hello, I'm Lord Carol (Lord_Carol on MTGO) I've just got back into Magic after playing it at school - which was a decade or so ago! I've been watching a lot of the draft videos, and so inspired by the Momir shenanigans recently, I decided to join MTGO and play lots of Momir Basic. So hit me up if yo...

What a day! It was great to meet you all - especially putting faces to famous names - and a highly enjoyable time was had.
No photos/videos from me I'm afraid, other than to identify this (trojan horse shirt + beard) as me. (cheers njsykora)
Hope to catch you all again some time!

Re: First Pick: Cracking Some Packs
Why is this video 489MB on iTunes? That's ten times the file size of anything of equivalent length! It makes it impossible to watch, as my external harddrive can't process it that quickly!
Can it be compressed in any way?

So did anyone else in the UK order the Never Forget shirt?
And if so, have they received it yet?
April 24th isn't far away and I don't want to be disappoint!

Can someone quickly summarise what is happening with LRR minecraft things at the moment? The only server I can access is the new Test server. What's happening to the old Creative?

Re: AskLRR - Closes November 6th @ 9:00AM PST
First post - be kind! Dear LRR, Do big name voice actors (eg. Patrick Stewart - Castlevania, Oblivion; Liam Nesson - Fallout 3, Claudia Black - Dragon Age, Stephen Merchant - Portal 2) make for a better video game experience or does it break the immersion by having you always think "Hey, it's t...
