Re: Game Ideas
I've got a notebook around here somewhere from when I had a sudden and intense desire to make something in RPG Maker. It was going to be a two-game creation myth series where the first game was you playing as the embodiments of the elements to create the world and the second would have been you play...

Re: Officially Forgotten?
I'm certainly sad that forums are widely being abandoned, because I really do prefer this format to active chat. I try to check in on the Discord regularly but there's always just so much stuff in there. I have like half the channels muted and it still takes forever to catch up and see what's actual...

Re: Old LRR sketches
Things like this are exactly why everything's being tossed onto YouTube. There's quite a bit of old sketches that are also unviewable because they were originally on a service that doesn't exist anymore.
Sadly, the only solution is to wait for the Youtube uploads. (Or track down some DVDs.)

Re: This thread is so gay
Well Merrymaker, my kneejerk reaction is to say "it's not worth it, it's bad timing and the long-distance thing is hard enough to swing even without being international." BUT, if you already know you'll regret not investigating it, you should absolutely at least have a chat about it. That ...

Re: The General Chat thread
Forums are definitely my preferred form of community chat. "Lack of immediacy" was a good way to put it: You can check up on and add to a discussion whenever, whereas in chat you gotta be there right when it happens, and getting in on a busy chat can be tough. It's also pretty clear that f...

As a looooong time Kingdom of Loathing player, I'm pretty excited to see them finally putting out a new game. (One that's not Word Realms, anyway.)

So a wedding happened. Me (left) and my now husband (right). http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i213/Aeralis/247318477_zpsdc0v3tb2.jpg It feels good to finally be able to call him my husband. I'm at the age where saying "boyfriend" is starting to feel weird, and "fiance...

Re: Television We're Watching Now
I think I'm finding it easier to adjust to the new Tom and Crow voices because this isn't the first time they've gotten new voices, and they're still pretty in the ball park, while Gypsy's new voice is just SO radically different.

Re: Television We're Watching Now
Started up Six Feet Under a little while back. It's alright, I guess. The new MST3K is a LOT better than I expected! Once you get past the kinda jarring transition to modern day references and increased ability to perform sight gags it really does feel like the same show. (Gypsy's new voice STILL th...

Now, I'll say that Episode #1 being a puzzle game that Adam has never played before is hilarious. However, for future videos, I feel like "puzzle games' and "games Adam has never had any contact with" are both generally poor choices. Especially if the cocktail leads the video to being...

Re: Running Start!
I'm loving all of the new stuff that's happening right now. It's great to see some non-stream content brewing for when you really just want a small chunklet of LRR.. But as for Running Start! itself, I really like the format. I especially like how... less formal it feels? Like it's not 20 minutes of...

While I was sick I took to watching a whole bunch of old Watch+Play streams. One of them was Prayer Warriors.

Re: The General Chat thread
I like it. My only concern is how there's no separation from the technical post details right above these words and the actual post content. Makes posts a little harder to parse to my eyes, like every post now has garbage stapled to their tops.

Re: SpellCasters
Summon [element] elemental - Creates an [element] elemental which casts a basic [element] spell autonomously. Can be targeted by a spell as a player can. This would be extra cool if it tied into the location tracking systems to generate an elemental based on your local climate or environment. Cloud...

Re: I'd like some feedback on this race I made for Pathfinde
The sonic damage was a stretch, just tossing out ideas to get creative juices flowing. I'm also not sure extra weaknesses are really necessary as long as Shapechanger's Gift gets throttled back. (Which it looks like it has a bit.) Anyway, I like where it's going. I feel like I need more eyes on this...
