Re: Ways to Avoid Christmas

And thus the record was set straight.

I was always under the impression that the piece of music was recorded by Andy, because you could always hear the pedals on the piano clunking faintly.

Any hope of the War of Christmas II?

So much fanservice! I think my favourite bits were 'convert' and 'unwonderful life', as well as the stinger.

I remember how I used to try to optimize steel coaster rides to launch a set of cars the maximum distance. Maximizing the launch velocity, vertical drop, and angle of launch for many hours of coaster crashing carnage.

Do minecarts work in MP yet? Last time I tried, java ripped open a memory leak and ate up my ram.

Re: Desert Bus 5 Challenge Reminder Thread

I'd be willing to pay for a dramatic reading/re-enactment of Scott Pilgrim.... Wow, and I thought "The Raven" was long! Well, perhaps truncated version or select scenes. Also, quantity donated is proportional to length I would bet. Assuming I still have a job come next year (and hopefully...

Youtube should really have a pay service where you just mail them a hard drive or 2 for mass video uploads....

My dream game would be a new, *good* space fighter sim. It has been far too long since Freespace 2.

Wishful thinking I suppose :/

I think my favorite bit of that entire video was the stinger, a very 'GUH!?' moment. Otherwise, I think James Cameron would approve if he knew.

Desert Bus is win. Donations broke $203k thanks to the echeques clearing (the one that pushed it over 200k was the goomba blanket $4300 donation).

Desert Bus 4 music video

More of a curiosity thread than a suggestion thread, does the LRR crew have a musical vid planned for DB4? You guys had Desert Bus Killed the Internet Star and Tuscon or Bust for the last 2, any teasers or hints as to the fate of this possibility?

Carts don't work in MP yet sadly... otherwise we would have colonized the whole map and built a tram system. The current map starts out in the desert too, so that reminds me of: 'Welcome, to the Black Mesa Transit system'

I found a way to fix it. You take about 1 heart of fall damage per client connection. Just dc/recon enough times to kill yourself, and you reset to a normal player state.

I got mobbed by some zombies, 'died', my stuff flew everywhere, but I wasn't dead. -I could still place blocks and shoot arrows that cause damage. -I can pick up infinite glitched arrows, but not any other items. -Other players can't see me, but I can damage them (sorry kano...

Wow, can't wait to see the result of the LHC. In other news, myself, Mr_Swan, Sophira, and kanon9000 started on an adventure out to the *middle of nowhere* and started to build a settlement. Re: Magic: The Gathering: Whatcha mean, there's no thread yet?

So I used to play MtG many many many years ago in elementary school, and because of LRR, I dusted off my old cards and found an incomplete deck (and probably one which wouldn't hold its own against the current core set). I'm tempted to start playing again but I'm faced with a few dilemmas. 1. New ca...
