Re: Oath of the Goatwatch Spoilers

If it makes things easier you can start describing mana not in colour but types. As in there are 6 types of mana 5 of which happen to be coloured.

I can imagine this will still confuse people though, I'm trying to think of what would have helped me to understand it better when I started playing.

Re: Oath of the Goatwatch Spoilers

I was a bit confused until I heard this explanation. Anything that created colourless mana is exactly the same, but every card that had colourless in its casting cost was never colourless but actually generic Which you know in hindsight makes perfect sense, but generic was always said like colourles...

Re: The depressing depression thread

I think about posting here every now and then but I don't. I saw people talk about a chat as DB ended and I thought, I should go there, but I didn't. I keep telling myself I want to be social and get new friends, but the way I've behaved I think it's more like I want to want it. Should I fight my i...

Took a few tries but I found a bot with the booster. Thanks.

Re: MTGO as a beginner?

Im also new to mtgo, just made an account this week to play innistrad drafts. I was wondering if there is a way to buy an innistrad booster as I have 2 already and would rather get the booster than buying tix. Can anyone help me out?

Re: The General Magic: The Gathering Thread

I don't know if anyone still checks this thread so I might make a separate one for this but I need some help to make a janky cube. My friends and I realized how much fun it is to play kitchen table casual decks but the idea of competition keeps making us build actual decent decks so we thought of an...

Re: Dragons of Tarkir Prerelease

Twin bolt was fine, I don't think it was ever stuck in my hand. Defeat I always sided out against green decks for that hate card that forces them to sac a white or green creature. Our top two players were aggro decks with one being a fellow kolaghan and the other b/w little dudes splashing silumgar....

Re: Dragons of Tarkir Prerelease

I think I maybe really bad at magic. I played Kolaghan, and man did I have a sick pool. Bolting marauder, Kolaghan's command, Blood-chin fanatic, freaking SHAMAN OF THE WILD HUNT. As well as a bunch of removal with flatten, twin bolt, defeat, even a reach of shadows. Tons of dash creatures, the guy ...

Re: The General Magic: The Gathering Thread

Man, I don't know why but the DtK spoilers just don't excite me. Like I look at the Khans and fate cards and they look so cool, and then I look at the Dragons cards and just go "eh, nothing special". I hope I'm wrong but I am not looking forward to this limited environment.

Man why is entering a GP so expensive? I was excited to play in GP Vancouver but $60? I feel like that is way too much, especially when this isn't limited so there aren't packs to pay for.

Re: The Big Relationship Thread

I was joking, I'm sure if this bothered me a great deal I would find time in my life to deal with it. Right now it's just something I've been thinking about when I day dream, not something haunting my day to day life. All though it took me max 10 minutes to right it out and like 2 min to respond eac...

So I've been thinking about relationships a lot lately, which is weird for me. I've never been good at figuring out what I want in life, so I decided to post here and maybe get some perspective and opinions. For some background, I had a girlfriend for a short amount of time, during which I got very ...

I don't post here often but damn it I need to vent...ish. This was hell week. 3 midterms in 4 days, just coming off of 2 the two weeks before. I went Mardu for the midnight release and holy crap my pool was busted. 2 Mardu charms, promo utter end, 2 ponyback brigades, sarkhan, High sentinels of Arashin, chief of the edge as well as a mountain of 2 drops and removal. I went 3-0 without dropping a game, but the deck pretty much built and pla...
