Audio Recording Question

(No better place to ask about this than from people who deal with that sort of thing professionally, I figure!) I stream games with several other people -- sometimes only one other, but sometimes as many as eight -- and I need a better audio recording solution. I've got a Shure PG42-USB, which is gr...

After working there for 7 years and 8 months, I got laid off today. Decent severance package, but honestly, I'm kind of scared and intimidated, it's been so long since I've looked for a job.

I burned myself out on it a while back (as did most of the rest of my free company, it seems), but I'll definitely be coming back before Heavensward.

I play on Sargatanas, this is me.

Re: The depressing depression thread

My psychiatrist actually has me keeping a mood journal to determine if I might be bipolar. Had a couple friends that turned out to be the case with, as well. It's probably a thing worth looking into for anyone who's receiving treatment that isn't working for them.

Re: The depressing depression thread

I'm surprised I hadn't yet posted in this thread in its three years of existence... I've been prescribed various things over the last couple years to treat my depression. Some of them helped my mood while my energy took a hit, some would help my anxiety but leave me feeling unmotivated. For the last...

Re: Are you Canadian? (Already living here.)

I wish I could Canada. :( I've wanted to move to Victoria ever since my mom and stepdad talked about getting a place in Nanaimo many years ago (they never did; stayed in Kamloops, where he's from). I think I'd love the weather up there. If I can't get in the country, maybe I'll end up someplace like...

Re: The Sex Thread 2: Because Two Hands Are Better Than One

Blarg...so, last time I posted, I think I mentioned that my new meds were making it so I couldn't orgasm. So the doctor switched me to a different one -- one whose dosage ramps up over time -- and for a little while, everything was fine again. But then I reached the maximum dosage, and started havin...

Re: The Sex Thread 2: Because Two Hands Are Better Than One

Man, I've missed a lot since the last time I checked in here. My doctor started me on two new medications last week -- lisinopril for blood pressure and citalopram HBr for depression -- and it has now become exponentially more difficult for me to get off. As in, if I'm taking care of myself, my arm ...

Hopping on the "Missie was awesome" bandwagon. :D

If Lady Landline were less Lex Luthor and more Catwoman, this might be thematically appropriate. Either way, cool thing I remembered while watching this, heh.

Halberds are more axelike. Ninja'd Ix, you are correct. The weapon I am wielding is either a billhook or a bill-guisarme, depending on the source you're referencing. They were banned by the Pope for giving peasant infantry too large an advantage over cavalry. And I wasn't the only person using an u...

Haha, I used to get Fresh Pies from the local Asian market from time to time. They weren't bad, and they were way cheap.

...Though they stayed on the shelves too long at this place, too. We got a package that tasted like it fermented once.

Re: The "Post a picture of yourself" thread

So, I got with some friends recently and made a movie trailer. It's a library-themed action/espionage spoof called Final Check-In . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qh-x7_-WPyU I'm the narrator/M-figure. (Figured this was a better place for it than the YouTube thread, since I'm actually in the video, ...

Well, since not much is TMI in this thread, and admitting it here is unlikely to impact me horribly elsewhere... (Still gonna spoiler the sensitive part, in case it is just way too personal for some people.) A few weeks ago, I found out I have an STD. It's incurable, but it's nothing more th...

Well, I've got a tentative date for sometime soon! It's not much -- we're both busy folks, so we're still trying to shuffle schedules to make it work -- but it's more than I've had in a year!

Two quiet people on a date...hope it doesn't get too awkward. ^^;

I was the New Boyfriend in my last relationship. She'd just broached the topic of polyamory with her boyfriend, and he agreed to try it. He couldn't handle it, they fought over it, and they broke up. While she and I technically remained open, I don't think either of us ever really took advantage of ...
