Copper Carapace makes a lot of sense, actually, I'll do that. I'm going to miss Umbra cards come September
e: uploaded the current version, I went with the Invisimancers and revised my lands to 17B/7U. Thinking of replacing the two Ponders with Unsummon or some other removal.

Re: Magic: The Gathering: Whatcha mean, there's no thread yet?
Adaptive Automaton isn't that great considering you have at most 4 cards of any given creature type. Your green mana isn't getting much use either even with the crocodiles. On actual playtesting, I did find myself mostly spending green on the crocs, but the remaining green doesn't really have the u...

Re: Magic: The Gathering: Whatcha mean, there's no thread yet?
Went to a draft last Thursday and got passed three Tormented Souls and an Adaptive Automaton(!). Went 2-1 (6-4 in games) with it, which was pretty cool, because I'd never even won a game before, much less a match. It got me thinking about cheap unblockable aggro, and I built this, if people can see ...

Re: Stanley Cup Playoffs 2011 - STANLEY. CUP. FINALS!!!
That was an amazing series and two incredibly well-matched teams.
More than anything else, props to the people in the Rogers, fans and staff alike, for such a classy send-off after the game. The cheers for Lucic were particularly nice, and that's awesome.

Re: Stanley Cup Playoffs 2011 - STANLEY. CUP. FINALS!!!
wait, they didn't stretcher off a guy with even the remotest possibility of a spinal injury? ok, I've been watching high impact contact sports for long enough to know that anything regarding the head, neck and back should result in being stretchered off. It boggles my mind that he wasn't. Everyone ...

More importantly: The Canucks refused to disclose the nature of Raymond's injury but said he had been taken to a local hospital for evaluation. MGH is one of the best hospitals in the country, and that's likely where he was taken. If there'd been any concern for a spinal cord injury, I can't believ...

Despite the officials apparently having been getting head from your team in the dressing room. -m Just one of Marchand's many skills. Anyhow, refs or not, the first three goals were pretty much free of officiating influence in either direction. That said, pretty worried that we're going to devolve ...

Now... especially after game 4... I want them to win it in Boston.
I am glad to see my team doing its best to prevent this!

Re: Stanley Cup Playoffs 2011 - STANLEY. CUP. FINALS!!!
The game hinged entirely on Lucic getting out of position and then not recovering in time to cover Lapierre.
I would not be averse to seeing this go into an OT game 7 because these teams seem shockingly well-matched.
(also because that's what I called.)

I feel bad for Luongo, but I don't understand why they left him hanging out to dry in Game 3 once the B's had put up 5. Pulling him tonight was the right decision.

Re: Stanley Cup Playoffs 2011 - STANLEY. CUP. FINALS!!!
Bostons got a damn good goalie on their hands, glad Canucks saw the pattern and pulled off an old 'one, two' for that winning goal. Sure would've helped if any of the four men we had back had decided it was a good plan to play 60 minutes of hockey instead of 59'40", not even T^2 can stretch th...

Re: Stanley Cup Playoffs 2011 - STANLEY. CUP. FINALS!!!
99% of the game was a dead heat, and considering how uninspired and slow the Bruins looked for half of the first and most of the third, I'm hoping Game 2 will look better! From my perspective, that is.

Re: Stanley Cup Playoffs 2011 - STANLEY. CUP. FINALS!!!
Vancouver in 6. I respect Boston a lot, that's a tough, hardworking team. But I just don't think they have what it takes. Am I scared of Chara and what he can do to the twins? Yes. But we've got Kesler, and, according to reports, maybe even Malholtra. I'm pretty confident they can put it away - esp...

I am terrified of Vancouver's power play but Zdeno Chara is basically a doomsday robot who decided to play hockey and break up offensive schemes.
Bruins in 7 and that final game is going to go into OT.

I completely agree that Chrono Trigger was the crown jewel of the games that previously didn't appear on the Virtual Console. All the other ones I want fall into niches that probably only interest me.

Not so keen about the colour scheme, particularly with that style of graphics. Personally I'd prefer a different shade of red, but I definitely think you should ditch the grey. It looks like some horrible preset colour scheme that no one actually uses. I actually found myself liking it quite a bit:...
