Re: GPLP: X-Men Destiny
Just had some thoughts re: how effing destroyed the city looks! It's set in SF, right? So I think there was a tremendous earthquake that helped all the malicious damages along. And no one is even talking about it because us Bay Area folks are so used to the Earth restructuring beneath our feet. XD

He'd probably just start putting notes up in the institute hallways about how someone (who shall remain nameless) left fragments of burning obsidian lying around, which is a flagrant violation of school rules as well as being a health hazard to the students, and looking meaningfully at Chad during ...

Granted. You're now very, very sad that such a man could legitimately run for president of the U.S.A.
I wish I wasn't so behind on my history paper.

I was dying of laughter with this one! I don't even... it was just... yes. I loved "destination driver," especially, and the way he just sort of hesitates over that word because he knows its wrong, but the J-fresh don't got time to fact check. Also hilarious: his atrocious grammar, but in ...

Do you guys know how many eps of this game you plan to do? Are you gonna play the whole thing through, or stop when you get beyond annoyed like with Venetica/Legaia 2? (I know I'd be psyched to find out where the hell this plot is going, but you guys shouldn't suffer too much XD)

I understand being upset that people are ignoring what you say because they're too busy staring. Or that there is a length of time past which looking at your body while you are talking to them is a bit creepy. But I don't think I'll never understand why anyone would want people to pretend they aren...

This is an interesting system! I do a lot of world building myself (if you look on the previous page, you can see Fayili going off to direct me here ;)), and my first piece of advice is: don't worry how similar it is to something you've never read, or even something you HAVE read. Sites like TV Trop...

This one was painful to watch—in a good way. I mean, it was hilarious, but only because it was so stingingly true. I've done lots of camp counseling and tutoring and I'm always sad when I see smart kids and dumb parents. Doesn't help that Congress it getting in on it. >.< That said, the sketch was a...

Interested in getting into Magic...
Hi y'all, So, I bet there's already been a thread to this effect someone, forgive me if I missed it; I've only recently gotten back to posting here. I'm interested in getting into Magic the Gathering (Friday Nights was what finally convinced me it looked fun!). I have a friend who plays, but she's a...

I liked this one a lot! Especially Kathleen and James and the whole sad routine! XD Still, I agree with the others who have said it wasn't quite as funny as the other episodes because there was, I felt, less character gags and more Magic gags.

For what it's worth, I interpreted that as Chad trying to BE respectful and overcome his hard-wired frat-boy mentally by obliging her request. OR, he could just be a dick. But the game is trying really hard to make him seem "righteous" or something... Haha, I think it was a little of both...

No, Chad still respects her, he just wants her body at the same time. Also, I think you guys can go upgrade your punches in the mutant power menu for another major combo. Loved this one. Funnily enough, I don't really play video games, but this one, and the GTA IV trailer one, I really enjoyed, even though their point was making fun of specific games... or maybe because it's making fun of the marketing for specific games, so I don't have to have actually played. All ...
