Re: Television We're Watching Now
Is nobody watching The Flash? One of the best shows on TV right now, especially if you're a comic book fan.

Re: LRRcon Runners Room Share Thread
I gots a room at the Doubletree, and I am there by myself. The second queen bed is up for grabs! I arrive Friday and check out Sunday. Looking to split the cost 50/50. First person to get back to me gets it! By the by I am told I snore and prefer some airflow/white noise. Let me know!

Re: LRRcon 2014
Ticket bought, airfare purchased and hotel booked. I am READY!
Is it May yet?
Also, depending on if my friend gets off his lazy butt or not, I might have space to share in my hotel room. Should know within a couple of weeks, if anyone is interested at that point.

Re: Commander/EDH Deck Talk
I was just curious, but does anyone have a solid Phelddagrif EDH deck they would be willing to share. I have been thinking about making one. Are you looking for something like Jer's Group Hug, which is nasty and can actualy win? I run a Phelddagrif Commander deck that basically can't win, it's purp...

Re: PAX to implement "Diversity Lounges"
Personally, when I first saw this on Twitter, my initial instinct was to respond with ridicule. "A safe space at PAX? A Diversity Lounge with a Diversity Bar where they serve Diversity Drinks? Bwahahaha!" Then I took a minute to think about what I had typed. Will this actually do any good ...

I am in pain, but I have Percocets. They help.
I have a lawyer looking at my case, and the compensation should be, as they say, substantial.

That was my hat I donated! Glee!
Also, was the accident perchance derived from mine own? Cause if it was, awesome. If not, great coincidence!
Easily my favourite Feed Dump to date, A+ from start to finish.

The ending made me angry, but in a good way. SPOILERS I actually cared somewhat about the characters, so having Serah die, finding out Caius won, and ending on a To Be Continued? It makes me angry because I want to play more dammit! I Platinumed the game, so all I have left to do is capture monsters...

I'm thinking that Phyrexian Juggernaut will turn out all right.
Also, finally! This was totally worth the wait, and now I want more.
I'm betting Paul turns out to be some sort of MtG super-genius too.

Went to my LGS for the DA prerelease. First time doing a full tournament, finished in the top 10! I even won 3 packs, and pulled a Falkenrath Aristocrat. Played a red/white aggro/temp/control deck. (It could do any of the three, depending on the situation.) I am so proud

This episode actually made me *like* Applejack. She didn't get shoved aside for random cute, or insane Pinkie Pie! And she was actually pretty awesome, especially her letter at the end. More like this please!

Actually I did train at NAIT in their culinary arts program, so I do know my way around a kitchen. So yes, burger-slinger technically does apply.

I loved loved LOVED Final Fantasy X-2.
Pretty pretty dressup? Check.
Terrible storyline? Check.
Songstress dressphere and it's super annoying singing parts in combat? Check.
Still can't get enough of it though.

Lessee, I have two copies of Arkham Asylum, because 1 came with Arkham City. Just haven't traded it in yet. Final Fantasy 4 - Original, GBA, DS, PS1, After Years on the Wii, and the PSP complete version. It's probably my favourite game ever. Lunar: SSS on PSP and PS1. FF: Tactics Original and PSP. F...

Tangentally related to the original question, would Victoria be about the same as Vancouver, job and rent wise? Planning on moving to the area in the near future, and haven't checked out Vic yet.
