I'll pitch in $20 as well! Can you post or PM deets?
We should make sure some sort of Maryland hat is part of the package, for Feed Dump reasons

Re: Modern Deck Brewing Advice
So wow, it's been a while since I touched this. So after FINALLY getting my cards (never EVER order from Troll and Toad!) I have had a few outings with my deck. It didn't do great. I've done a little bit of playing around and here is where I'm at currently: http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/24-03-16-PC...

Re: TTC? Idea - Hearthstone nicknames
Sounds like a good idea, but I doubt it would happen for two reasons. One, TCC is exclusively a MTG podcast, it would be tactically foolish to switch gears midstream. Two, Graham has stated that the MTG nicknames are A LOT of work, I doubt he'd willing to put the same effort into a game he (at least...

Hullo! I too am a MaryLRRnder! Live in Abingdon, work in downtown Baltimore. If anyone wants to get together for a pint, to play some MTG or are willing to teach me DnD hit me up! If you are from Harford county and are looking for recommendations on Comic/Card shops I frequent both Critical Hit and ...

On The Tip Of My Tongue
I turn to the LRRmunity in my most desperate hour. I am trying to place a partial quote that's stuck in my head from (I think) some movie. One character says "I've missed you" and another replies "And I missed you too at the [place] in [some other place]." It's driving me nuts! I...

Re: SoI Prerelease - How'd You Do?
I ended up 3-5 over two days (1-3 and 2-2). Day 1: Pool & Deck Day 2: Pool & Deck Day one was a midnight release, played RG stuff. The highlight was two Flameblade Angel which really put in work when I could get them down. I had the final match won with them until my opponent topdecked a Sle...

The Rhino was mentioned over on a daily MTG post!

At number 9. I know LRR has a good relationship with WotC but its nice to see official recognition.

Remember too that both Graham and Kathleen are involved in QWERPline and also parents to a four month old. Things might be delayed occasionally because of babby and this is ok.

Was this addressed in some DailyMTG story that I missed? I just finished reading all the BFZ and OGW stories, Sorin and Nahiri were only mentioned ... right?

Re: Modern Deck Brewing Advice
Ok, ok, I'm getting more of a feel for this now. Here's the changes I made this go around: http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/omnath-tribal-3/ In the mana base I swapped 4x Cavern of Souls for 4x Wooded Foothills this will help me get my two green mana out and adds some fun double landfall triggers for ...

Re: Modern Deck Brewing Advice
Ok, well here's what I've come up with so far:
http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/omnath-tribal-3/
It doesn't seem super great, but what do ya'll think? It's a bit lacking on the green, but I couldn't find much that went with the elemental theme in green :-/

So, what say you ebMusicMan? You want to get on that bad ideas train? I love bad ideas! Especially when they are awesome bad ideas :D From the replies I've gotten (THANK YOU to everyone!) it sounds like maybe I need to consider two different types of decks: Gruul Aggro and a Tribal Elemental theme ...

Modern Deck Brewing Advice
Hello everyone, I hope this is copesthetic here. I searched for a sticky thread, or something specifically for modern but came up empty. I have recently returned to the game for the first time since the Zendikar/Scars standard format and was looking at getting in to some modern. Looking through the ...

First impression: Meh... Impression of the last minute: bullshit Rose resurrected Jack with the power of the time vortex, but due to her clumsiness or whatever you want to call it he became a fixed point in time. Time itself is what keeps him alive, there is nothing in his blood and so in reality th...

Re: Doctor Who
Maybe this is the entire reason Moff invented River in the first place :-p I was going to make the argument that he'd have had to create a new Time Lord since there are no more in existence (besides The Master, who isn't about to give up all his regenerations for The Doctor), but then I remembered a...

Re: Doctor Who
Also when Nine was regenerating into Ten he said "It's a bit dodgy, this process. You never know what you're gonna end up with."
This seems to be contrary both to Romana's regenerations and to River's statement: "I'm concentrating on a dress size."

Re: Doctor Who
The way it was talked about in this episodes, it seems like each Gallifreyan has a finite amount of energy which they can harness for regenerations. So, River tried to transfer one regen's worth, but because of how difficult that process is to control (that is, she couldn't stop it), she accidental...

Also wait shit does this mean it's now re-cannon that Time Lords/Ladies have a finite number of regenerations? Remember the Master was granted more somewhere in the Sixth or Seventh Doctor's tenture... how was that possible, if River gave the Doctor "all of her" regenerations? AUG...

So if this is how they get out of the whole River is programed to kill The Doctor thing, are they telling us that he really dies in 2011 and that this is his last ever regeneration?

Re: Torchwood
I think the problem is that instead of a character being gay, the character is defined by being gay. Leaves little room for anything else.
