Re: Ways to Blow the Kickstarter Money
I find it sad and funny that no canadian plastic space money was used during filming. Couldn't stand the smell of maple syrup?

Re: Fourth Annual Secret Santa! (SIGN UPS NOW OPEN)
Since my description was kinda crappy, here's last years which is al still true apart from my age. I am a 21 year old Drama graduate. I like Japanesey things and cutesy things, and have a major nerd on for 90s cartoons and voice actors. Animaniacs, Freakazoid, that sorta thing. I like puns more than...

In before the deadline:
THE MIMM: CONFIRMED
I am a kind of kooky individual. I have often been told if I were an animal, it would be a raccoon. I like the colour purple, craftsy things, and comedy... open to surprises. Oh, I also have a sweet tooth.

Kathleen! Those auditory hallucinations you describe! They are actually quite common and are a symptom/side effect of anxiety/stress. The sensation of being out of time, slower or faster than your surroundings, or the sensation of echoing or having things out of time, is a result of chemical inbalan...

I wish I was, but sadly no.
I have decided that Carlos has a big 80s hair rock hairdo, and is in fact in a glam rock tribute band with all the other scientists.
Nothing can convince me otherwise.

I bet Steve Carlsberg is either head to toe tattoo or not tattooed at all, depending on whether you think they mark you out as a good Night Vale citizen or a bad one.

I think everyone in Night Vale is tattooed. Certain tats are like badges of compliance. It makes it easier for the Sheriff's secret police to tell if you're going to cause problems or not.

Re: Welcome to Night Vale
It reminds me of the Series of Unfortunate Event books. The books, mind, not the movie. Just for that meandering, poetic style of writing which every now and then sharply veers to avoid hitting a deer and ends up plummeting into nightmare territory. So Juliamon touched on a point, how do we imagine ...

Is everyone happy now? And yeah, I think the longer you stick with it, the more enchanted you will become by it. Cecil and Carlos and their relationship is just so good, because it's exactly how I wish everything could handle relationships. Also, Cecil's adorable when he really starts with the smitt...

Plummeting sloth looks fabulous in a waistcoat and tie. So much so he could never be hired to work for an undertaker, as pall-bearers who look so good in formal attire do not for an appropriate, grieving solemn atmosphere make.

I actually fangirled. Full on, elbows in, fists over mouth, bouncing in place fangirled. They have a t-shirt competition on at the moment. I think that's kind of the one let down about them- normally I like to buy something to show some token of helping, but their merch is really expensive. I mean, ...

Fayili's just awesome.
Talking to her is like reading a paragraph at random from your favourite book, but not the recent favourite, the one you haven't read in a while so you forgot big chunks of it and are likely to be surprised as well as amused and entertained.

Re: Welcome to Nightvale
Seriously, I've gotten hooked. I started listening to it the day before I made this thread. In four days I have listened to nearly their entire archive. Ok, so it's bi-monthly so their archive isn't that big, but I still think that's more than can be good for a person. Also, I love Cecil and Carlos....

Re: Welcome to Nightvale
*sigh*. Can I at least keep my sense of self this time? I mean, I normally get to keep my memories and personality, but I'd like to not feel like a person impersonating myself this time.
