Friday Nights concept idea
I know none of you look like you did a long time ago, and maybe it wouldn't even be that funny, but I think it would be interesting to see what a friday nights episode made by the ~2008-2010 crew would look like, with Ben at the end/stinger editing the footage, claiming it was lost on the hard drive...

I felt inspired to make these on the drive to work today: Dande, Cartographer of Chult 1GW Legendary Creature - Cat Monk Vigilance, First Strike Whenever Dande deals combat damage to a player, explore. 2/2 Morra, Student of Stealth 1BG Legendary Creature - Elf Rogue Whenever a creature attacks you o...

Crapshot - The Racket
A pair of mobsters enter a place of business, probably remark to each other that this new neighborhood should be ripe for the picking for protection money. They approach the clerk. Mobster 1: Hey, we just got into town, and heard that this neighborhood's a little dangerous. Clerk: You definitely hea...

Standard Deck helping
Thanks to HOU spoilers , I've come up with the deck I'm going to build once Rotation comes, or even before it, because my RPG Forest deck is basically all leaving with the rotation. So I've decided that I'm going to build a God-Pharaoh's gift deck. Basically, at this point, I just need help figurin...

Re: Magic the Gathering: Ask a Judge
No clue on the second question, but yes, the embalm tokens will copy the embalm, as they are a copy of the creature, and it still has that text, just it does nothing. So a theoretical vanilla embalm creature wouldn't get the bonus from muraganda petroglyphs.

Re: Standard Discussion
I'd love some sideboard help on my two standard decks:
RPG forest
And the Animaniacs
I just edited the Animaniacs to be a bit different, but hopefully it still runs the same

Re: The General Magic: The Gathering Thread
I think someone should compile a list of all of the 13s on cards in Shadows over innistrad block, from the direct 13s (triskaidekaphobia, emerakul) to the implicit ones (goldnight castigator, hanweir, the writhing township)

Re: Commander/EDH Deck Talk
It totally works, actually, since the closet exiles them first, which fulfills the unearth requirement. It's a recent ruling on magicjudge.tumblr.com, if you want to check that one out.

Re: Commander/EDH Deck Talk
I recently built 2 decks that I'm really proud of, an Arjun storm deck , and a Sedris reanimator deck , using conjurer's closet and dead eye navigator to make things stay alive after unearth. I'm still looking for new challenges in deck building, such as a mono-green artifact deck that I made, or ot...

Re: Design a Card
The game has done sticky counters before with Skullbriar, the walking grave, and I think it's fine. The idea you suggested works with parallel lives a lot better, plus if you have ways of animating enchantments and pumping them, then those things are suddenly a potential threat. I think the design i...

Re: Commander/EDH Deck Talk
I'm interested to make some more commander decks based on challenges from this forum. I've previously made Jund life gain, mono-green artifacts, and even a deck based on one of the least used commanders on EDH-rec, Yuan Shao, the indecisive.

Oh yes, that's what it's in there for. One of my early ones draws me a bunch from Expedite, and the rest use all the pump spells I drew.

Re: Standard Discussion
I need a name for this deck . The current name isn't funny or obscure enough to warrant being that long, so I want a better name. For reference, I named my Whirler Virtuoso combo deck "Whirler Symphonic presents Raymond Scott's Powerhouse in E♭", and my current thought is "Hedrons at ...

Re: I'd like some feedback on this race I made for Pathfinde
That's fair, and thank you very much for the help you've provided so far. I'm also considering adding an optional "extra meals" rule for games where the GM actually tracks meals, since it would make sense that RIPPING YOUR F***ING SKIN OFF AND GROWING NEW SKIN would make one a little pecki...

Re: I'd like some feedback on this race I made for Pathfinde
First off, I really like the idea here. It's really interesting to think about how it would work in practice and I like how it has this very powerful ability (true shape changing without the need of spells) that is tempered a bit by clunky usage (needing to go off somewhere private and be disgustin...

I'd like some feedback on this race I made for Pathfinder
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1PhG ... sp=sharing I was struck with inspiration for a character for Pathfinder, and I was dismayed to find that there were no races that fit what I wanted. The closest was a reptoid, but that seemed dumb, so I sought my friend's help, and he showed off a similar ...

Re: Magic the Gathering: Ask a Judge
Question about paying costs: Jarad, Golgari lich lord has you sacrifice 2 lands to return him from your graveyard to your hand, and the Gitrog has you draw cards each time lands enter your graveyard, so I'm wondering if you get 2 cards, because they are separate costs on the card, or 1, because they...
