You remember that one video...?
Hey, fellows! I'm sure I'm not the only one who has tried desperately to find that one pure gem of audio or video amongst the near-infinite sea that is LRR content, so I'm starting this thread so that people who are searching can use their collective memories and/or sleuthing skills for the effort o...

Re: Standard Discussion
Just finished cooking up an absolutely *ludicrous* U/G Clue deck, with Tamiyo's Journal as the all star. http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/my-handy-dandy-notebook/ So the idea is that you play the erdwal illuminator t2, tireless tracker t3, briarbridge patrol t4, and journal t5, then sacking 3 of your ...

In my playgroup, it's something like this. Ulamog = Newlamog Omnath = Kool-aid man. (because of an awesome piece of photoshoping http://orig15.deviantart.net/a041/f/2015/264/8/4/8425a76758ed5f86ae1fa8eeec4edb72-d9adho7.png ) Bane of Bala Ged = Old School-drazi Earthen Arms = Hulk Smash! Yeah, pronounced "Pigeon" as in Pigeon English. I've only heard it in the context of white people insulting poc's thick accents, so it was cool to hear that's not exclusively the usage.

Re: Fight the Future 11 - NausicaƤ of the Valley of the Wind
Warriors of the Wind was actually the first Ghibli related anything that I saw when I was younger, so I still have something of a soft spot for it. Despite the all-star cast of the newer dub, I found it to be more distracting than enriching, with the obvious exception of Patrick Stewart. While the s...

Re: Loading Ready Fan Draft.
Well, crap. I joined the late night second draft and thought I could get through it, but after the first game of getting stomped I just collapsed asleep while waiting for the second round to start and got timed out of the match. What pains me the most is that it was against Admiral Memo, and the who...

We need to Enhance the Pixels....
Regardless of weather or not it's actually there, if the purpose is to make your own Phelddagrif using Jer's mana base, I'd still put in a Maze of Ith. It seems like the thing that should be there.

Re: Fight the Future 01 - Divergent
I really like the idea of this podcast and also glad that you present the world as charitably as you do given how crackpot most of them sound. I must say, though, the filters on the topic change voice are a bit over the top for me. It's a little hard to parse out what she's saying. Maybe just toning...

The Booster I sent LRR was Weatherlight, which actually makes me wish that I *had* made a custom pack of the goofiest crap cards I own.

Red/Green Bull gives you Wins.
For the Herd!
The National Geographic Channel?
I'm just a happy little water-buffalo.
Full of Bull.
STAMPEDE! (a card that would go well in the deck, I might add. Pictures of Aurochs, 3-mana,gives creatures you control +1/+0 & trample)

Re: Eleven Secret Herbs and Spices: Theme Decks
What to pick... Let's see, a bare bones Esper Mill deck built using as many Jace cards I could muster, a mono-white Bird Soldier deck, starring Commander Eesha, Mono-black Rat Tribal swarm deck, and 2 decks mostly inspired by LRR: a Pheldagrif friend deck, and a Treefolk tribal deck using Sapling of...

Re: Commander/EDH Deck Talk
How do you guys deal with overly competitive commander players? Granted, I was playing at a Grand Prix, but I didn't realize how competitive it could get in the "casual" side events, and I am *not* a competitive commander player.

Re: The Magic Venting Thread
I went to my Very first Grand Prix over in Omaha, NE, and it was possibly one of the worst experiences in Magic I've ever had, and it's mostly my own danged fault. I signed up for the main event, which was not the smartest idea in the first place if I wasn't panning on winning anyway, but all of the...

Awesome! I still haven't decided if I'm doing the main event (best deck I could cobble together is kinda good mono red burn) but all those side events look sweet. I'm going to play commander til I can't see straight, then play one more.

Merry Christmas, One and All. :) Fave thing I got this year was definitely the hardcover Firefly Celebration book. It's *like* an art book, but it also has episode filming scripts, interview transcripts, unused episode ideas, conversations with the cast and crew; it's like having a special collector...

Re: Lore: Which Planeswalker Would be the Most Fun to Hang W
I was musing about this sort of thing about how the different planeswalkers would interact in the MtG movie that may or may not get fully made. Of all the ones currently around, I think that Elspeth might be the least likely to give me a hard time, followed closely by Ajani. I really like Ral Zarek ...

Re: Commander/EDH Deck Talk
I recently realized that I had Narset in my collection, and I really want to build a deck around her. The problem is that I've already got something 8 decks (a kind of terrible yet endearing Izzet Burn deck and a somewhat interesting esper mill deck among them), and I'd almost have to get a Divining...

Anyone going to GP Omaha?
I'm an MTG fan in the Midwest and Grand Prix: Omaha is going to be my very first experience with a GP. Any LRR fans planning on heading up/down/around to Omaha when it happens? (For those who may not know, it's Modern format happening January 9-11 in Omaha, Nebraska. http://legionevents.com/gp-omaha...
