Re: TTC - Khans Prerelease
I loved Cameron's response to the cranefly at around 1:10. Poised, composed, in con-GETITOFFGETITOFFGETITOFF! It was sweet to hear about all your decks in such detail. I did run my promo copy of Trail of Mystery because I had 7 morph creatures, one of which was Ashcloud Phoenix. The rampant growth a...

Re: Social Anxiety Fear Factor
Man but Paul's acting was super solid in this one, especially in the first half. I love the sheen of sweat they added. Kathleen also did a great job of being the most passive aggressive hostess ever. I think your acting skills are still improving with each sketch, fantastic work. The sheer number of...

Just stopping by here to say that me and my better half are going to be going all 4 days. We can't help with any ticket or hotel woes, but we look forward to getting together and meeting you guys! If you went to LRRCon, I was there but not super social.

I kept waiting for the script to swing full circle back to the fortune teller character...that could have helped a bit with telling a cohesive story. That being said, I really enjoyed it! Graham's cool middle finger was beautiful; I had to pause to laugh.

Re: NEW VIDEO - Drugs, Drugs, Drugs
Yeah Kathleen was the best part of the video, the rest seemed like just a list of silly names. An impressively delivered list of silly names, but I expected the sketch to go somewhere more interesting. I look forward to the loading time where they go out and buy a bong though.

Fantastic, wonderful, stupendous, other big shouty positive words. I had the best time, thank you to all the people who put it together and went! Some highlights: Almost winning the foil sheet of uncommons from the standard tournament, almost winning (top 8, at least) the draft that would not end, p...

According to Kayak, the absolute cheapest option to fly (which I will say I didn't take) involved flying to LAX (from Alaska, I remind you) and staying there for 24 hours, then going to Seattle. I don't even understand why that was an option.

I am here as well, but very tired. I can't sleep on planes. I'm also watching the pax site like a hawk. I'm glad the prime tickets didn't go live when I was in the air! So I'm just chillin' for a bit.

Aeric, I assume you made the squash joke not only because it was a stage of grief, but also because that video (The Stages) was, according to the wiki, part of a YouTube contest entry? Nice touch!

I was hoping a LNDF would happen, as Beej would be there for sure! One of the (many) highlights of DB7 for me...Dat martial arts scene...I'm gonna go find it on youtube again.

You conveyed the dual emotions of extreme pain and sudden rage so well during the opening that I knew instinctively that you were banging your shins before you mentioned it. Only banging your shins elicits that specific response. Great sound too! The sounds are, I feel, particularly important when t...

Re: Magic the Gathering: Ask a Judge
So this came up today between a match between a friend and I, and I'm pretty sure I know the end result but I'm a little fuzzy on how it works rules-wise. I'm playing black devotion and he's mono-blue. I have an Erebos out,and my devotion is above 5 so he's a creature. If my opponent domesticates my...

I went to school to be a wildlife biologist and each subsequent summer I've been getting farther and farther from my goal. First summer I worked with birds, good. Next I worked with plants, still technically wildlife. Next I did forestry stuff, not really getting information for science, more for ec...

Heck yes I'm excited! Quick question: Do we need to bring boosters to participate in the draft? From the blurb it sounds like they'll be provided, but I want to make sure I can play!

I suppose if we're splitting hairs I'm from slightly east of the direct center of Alaska, but middle of nowhere is still middle of nowhere. When it's a six hour drive to get to the nearest Target, you can feel quite alone in the world. Not always a bad thing, but makes it a right bitch to travel any...

Got confirmation on a nice summer job to pad the wallet, so I will be there! It's my first con, kind of nervous, but mostly about the travel aspects. I'm sure the social interactions will go just fine. Mostly excited!
