I'm not sure "Has this meth been hygienically handled," is the first thought that crosses most meth addicts' minds if you pull out a crystal that size. But then again, I can't claim to be a meth addict, so who knows.

-The Bugle Eff you, Chris. :P Besides the Bugle, I listen to NPR's Wait Wait, Don't Tell Me (the two shows are probably where I get most of my news from, sadly), You Look Nice Today and Freakonomics Radio. I also listen to How to do Everything and This American Life on occasion, though I'm currentl...

Re: Doomsday
Guys, guys guys guys. What if, guys. What if, time zones were just a prediction of which parts of the world will fall and when? Like, midnight doomsday, NZ falls, then aus, and then it just follows the world around and 23 hours later the entire world is dead. And every country fell at exactly midni...

Wark! What? :) Sorry, couldn't resist. Anyone got a link for the Utah woman story? Because when I googled "woman with methamphetamine in vagina", I got a bunch of hits for a case in Minnesota, but not in Utah. (Adding "Utah" to the search did not help.) Not that I'm accusing the...

The word of the day for today, November 28th, is svelte.

Re: Advice Thread
With most things in Android, if it's not baked in, and it's a reasonably common format, you can probably find a free viewer/reader for it. As far as Silverlight working, probably not at all? That would be my guess anyway, since it's a Microsoft product and I doubt they would have ported it to Androi...

Transferring stuff is pretty simple, it basically just looks like a regular old USB drive when you plug it in, though I seem to recall that you might need special drivers if you're trying to use it with Mac / Linux boxes. I haven't tried any video yet, but Android devices are usually pretty good at ...

I have a Nexus 7 myself, and have been pretty happy with it so far. The nice thing is that, with the exception of Amazon's instant video service, the Nexus 7 has access to all the same Amazon content that the Kindle Fire has. The only thing I'm disappointed with so far is the lack of MicroSD slot, b...

From what I understand, Siegfried was possessed by Nightmare (the armor) / the Soul Edge, and sometime between SCII and SCIII, managed to break free. However, Nightmare was basically like, "Screw you, I don't even need your body anyway." I suspect this may have also been an excuse to split...

I'm also a recent forum addition, and I'm also from Minnesota! warkface, maybe we've met at a local con...? Perhaps? Though, the only CON I really go to is CONvergence, and for the most part I'm more or less a spectator there more than anything else. I probably got into LRR through one of the Yahtz...

As long as we're on the subject of Desert Bus confessions... (It's worth noting this isn't my whole reason for making an account, I really am interested in seeing what this community is all about. I just figured I might as well get this off my chest before I start.) If you watched Desert Bus 6 close...

Re: Introduce yourselves! (A friendly topic for new members)
Hi everybody! (Hi, Dr. Nick!) So, let's see. I guess I'm still semi-new to this whole LRR thing. I know I've watched a video or two before, and I've been aware of Desert Bus pretty much since it's inception, though I never really watched more than a few minutes at a time until more recently. I guess...
