It's definitely a "status symbol" in my opinion. To me, you get it to show off "Look, I got an iPhone."

Meanwhile, some people that I've talked to says that the Treo is actually a superior product until the iPhone's bugs gets ironed out.

Here in California, there are some cities that have banned smoking within a certain number of feet (I don't know the exact number) of a doorway (even outside).

Also, some beaches have banned smoking and some cities are also looking to ban smoking in public parks as well.
