I loved Paul the Overlord's bit the best. His description of the whipped topping and his declaration of victory made me lol. I didn't quite get the bits with Paul and Matt as rival carny barkers, though. Perhaps it's something uniquely Canadian, where sideshow callers try to sell tickets on the stre...

I installed my legit, 10 year old copy of Starcraft this morning and didn't have my product key handy so I just typed in 1234567890123 and away we went... I'm incredibly surprised that worked. Why would you need to install a game on more than three different computers? I mean, I'm playing a bit of ...

Right, I was considering getting it for my wife, but noticed the 800 reviews of it on Amazon with the net rating being 1 out of 5 stars. Most of those negative reviews are from people that don't want the restrictive DRM. EA and Maxis had supposedly fixed all this back in the Spring, but the current ...

This is why you should have used the original LRR variation. Three sturdy individual devices duct taped together beats one flimsy old iPhone any day. It's like the whole a single stick breaks, but a bundle of sticks cannot be broken wisdom thing.

Metal Warriors played sort of like that, but it was an SNES game. It also had an awesome two-player mode and if you haven't played it you should. http://www.gamesetwatch.com/mw5.jpg Westwood's Battletech had mechs in it and was on computers, but it was topdown. And for the record, I've played Abuse ...

These days we're all at most shoots, in case an extra hand is needed. We meet and shoot on the same day now, so we're all there anyway. Makes sense. What if you had a sudden burst of inspiration and yelled out, "I've got it, Morgan comes in and has little people on his head as well, but he's e...

I find it interesting that Blues Brothers is considered a musical. I had never really thought about it before, but I guess the Aretha Franklin and Ray Charles songs do just break out spontaneously, which I would consider the main criteria for a musical.

Not spring: "string". "We couldn't get the string to work." Ah, that makes a lot more sense. I thought maybe somebody wished to never see a spring again, and then Springy the Spring Fairy granted that terrible, terrible desire, foiling LRR's plans to have the house bouncing on t...

Dr. Horrible and The Rocky Horror Show are also great. Though the latter is best watched with a crowd.

I'm beginning to lean towards the 360 because it has a larger selection of games. I'd like to try Dead Rising in particular. That's awful. When I heard Jerry Reed died it made me think about the fact that, as I get older, more and more of the talented people that have been mainstays in my life are going to die. This is just another example. When are we going to get around to conquering death?
