Great as always. I liked the bit about all you need to catch a cat shark and how Nate is going to show us how to do it later in the program. Isn't that a Monty Python reference as well? In the Blue Peter parody where they explain how to play a flute, cure all diseases, and create world peace?

That was great. I also wondered where the second Matt came from.

I hope we'll see more of these. The process of how the videos get made is just as interesting to me as the videos themselves.

the fact that its 'mining a delicious treat out of the earth' reminds me of the 1985 film 'the stuff'. Curses! And here I was certain that I'd be the first and only person that made that connection X^ That was a wonderful horrible film, that put me off of mined ice cream for almost a full week, for...

The Thing for the XBox is probably in the bargain bin by now. It had some shoddy controls and insanely hard parts, but I enjoyed the story. If you happened to like the movie it's a nice follow-up.

Oh, Knights of the Old Republic is great and is around 10-15 dollars these days.

Captain America's backstory gets all muddled because of retconning and their habit of having Steve Rogers give up the mantle to other people at various times. Last thing I'd heard he didn't have the Super Soldier Serum anymore, so if he did get shot a lot he might truly be dead. But in comics there ...

You might just have to avoid walking in front of buses. It's usually bad for your health. In that it kills you. Dead. D-E-D. But what else will I do on a Saturday night? Buspathcrossing is all I've got. Well, that and adventure games. See, if they'd make a new Monkey Island they'd be saving me from...

Sam and Max is harder to get into because it is out there on the weirdness scale. I didn't like Hit the Road at first because its interface was so different from Monkey Island or Day of the Tentacle, not to mention it just looked bizarre. However, it grew on me and by the time I'd played through the...

Fan of LucasArts Adventure Games? Sam and Max Perhaps?

If so, you should be giving your money to Telltale Games and possibly asking for Sam and Max: Season 1 in return for it if you don't believe in charity. Just yesterday they slashed the price to $29.95 for all six episodes. They have also made Abe Lincoln Must Die, the highest rated episode of the se...

Did EA take crazy drugs or did Trip Hawkins get permission to be in charge for a day or something? That's disturbingly cool. This is the same company that is breaking up families with their scheduling and pay scale, ruthlessly signs exclusive rights deals with all the major sports leagues right at t...

I would say barricade yourself in your room with food and supplies to last through the zombie holocaust, but people might get the mistaken impression you were playing along. Hide under a bed? In the interest of providing entertainment, if you don't just feel like idling for hours on end in the #loadingreadyrun channel, I setup a Trivia bot in the #trivia channel. I considered putting it in the actual LRR channel, but thought it might be too distracting. If you want to kill time battling ...

I had a little bit of an Internet addiction in high school and once stayed up for around four days straight. AvP 2 is a sweet game. Way better than the movie. I enjoy the human single-player campaign the most, simply because it's so atmospheric and kind of scary. Particularly when you're running away from aliens and the little motion sensor is going off like crazy. I rarely accomplish anything as a Predato...

No, I can't see how that is going to be an improvement. Personally, there are some movies that don't really need their special effects punched up, comic relief added, love interests created, etc. The Day the Earth Stood Still is a movie that still stands up well. Gort, the spaceship, the army's weap...
