I know that feel. One time, someone asked me if I was Canadian, just because I pronounce 'been' and the ain syllable correctly.

If by correctly you mean like a Canadian.

Re: Your Favourite Desert Bus 5 Memes

Not so much memes but my favorite moments that I witnessed were Kthulu Fthagen to the tune of Hakuna Matatata, Kate's brilliant Dessert Bus clubbing, and Paul's rendition of Halleluiah. I have to go mine Youtube now for the thirty or hours I slept through or worked through. Kate's Clubbing was FANT...

On Kazoo-gate: sometimes I found it distracting, but more often than not I found it hilarious. But I think the kazoo is hilariously ridiculous to begin with.

Re: Desert Bus

You know, I wonder if it not being as interactive at the beginning was at least partly deliberate: knowing that around Wednesday and definitely most of today, they would lose many American viewers due to Thanksgiving - and a solid amount of their call-ins have been American* - and taking in to consi...

Re: Star Wars: The Old Republic

SWTOR is still in beta mind you. Though it will be inevitable everyone will want to play light sabre classes. But hopefully if they attract enough non-Star Wars fans a good portion will play a gun user (because they won't care about sticky of lightydoom [or prefer class mechanics over aesphetics])....

Re: Star Wars: The Old Republic

Ooo, that's really good advice. I hadn't thought of that. I still probably won't be playing again because I don't want to spoil anything, but that's a really good idea. Yeah, I got the idea from another LRR Forum member whose twitter handle I cannot for the life of me remember who was playing the b...

Re: Desert Bus

And I may be the only one under this impression, but I can't help but think that the crew would be even more bored than some of us are if they no longer had challenges to do. Routinely I hear the driver ask, "Hey, can we do some challenges now?" and continue to prod the person sitting at ...

Got to Beta it 2 weekends ago, and I believe a big mass beta is going on this weekend where practically everyone who's beta tested it before is being invited (or I got extremely lucky to get 2 beta invites in a row). Let me tell you, if I didn't have to save money for a plane to France, I would pre-...

Re: Creator of Danger Mouse and Count Duckula has Died

=( Back in college (well college 1) a friend of mine was talking about Danger Mouse, and I was like "What's a Danger Mouse" so we went to her dorm, and she showed me Danger Mouse, and at the first notes of the theme song, I was like "OMG, I REMEMBER THIS!" And then we watched Dan...

Re: Desert Bus

Hmmm... I still feel like this year's challenge system has been better than the last few years: it's easier to understand, and the challenges haven't gotten looked over (much?). Maybe I'm biased because mine got through on the first time, and performed a few hours later. I do agree that a system to ...

Re: California's Video game hatin' gets overthrown

I'm really not surprised it didn't go through honestly. Those kinds of laws have always been shot shot (As far as video games are concerned). As far as the law being more specific as to what should and should not be banned, I'm going to go with: The Supreme Court is not stupid, and, even if they don...
