Re: The Walking Dead (Telltale Games)

The Walking Dead is currently the Beat the Average Bonus this week in the Humble Weekly Bundle. The current average is $3.77USD

It is probably safe to say this is as low as you'll ever see The Walking Dead.

Re: Bioshock Infinite

Last fight is a joke (along with most other major setpeice fights) if you've got the Winters Shield Gear because it basically makes you invincible so long as you stay near a skyline. As I said earlier in the thread: gear is horribly imbalanced, and the fact that it is distributed randomly really rea...

Re: A Moment of Silence for LucasArts

Personally I find it a bit amusing how many people on sites such as reddit freaking out about how they'll never get sequels to externally developed Star Wars games (KoToR, Battlefront, Rogue Squadron, etc) now that Lucasarts has shifted to only doing externally developed Star Wars Games. There is a ...

Re: Bioshock Infinite

I hate the Gear system. It absolutely ruins the game. The fact that gear can't be purchased and is a random drop when you find it works against the player at every turn. If I recall correctly most of the tonics you found in the world in the original Bioshock were randomized, but you still could supp...

Re: The Indie Bundle Master List

Indie Gala is currently running Indie Gala Flash which includes Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon when you beat the average. Ever wanted to kill thousands of giant ants and/or spiders with hundreds of different guns? Then perhaps you should consider Earth Defense Force. Admittedly, Insect Armag...

and Trenched (Iron Brigade in Europe, 7)! It is Iron Brigade the whole world round. It seems Double Fine didn't want to mess around with confusing region specific names. As for Brutal Legend, it isn't great, but it is good enough. The fact is that it tried a bunch of things and not all of them were...

Re: Who uses cheats?

I also did some cheats in Grand Theft Auto 4 but who didn't? I didn't! Despite having put a collective 50~ hours into GTA4 and Liberty City episodes I don't even know how cheat codes are entered in that game. The improvements to driving and shooting made stuff like health cheats and weapon cheats c...

I personally enjoy the BC legislature method of dealing with a Valentines day spent alone: Create a competing, statutory holiday in the same week that (most) single people can still celebrate.

cH Daily Drop couldn't sort out the rental of a high-speed camera, so they just filmed it with a normal camera and slowed down the footage.

Free weekend for Chivalry (Along side a 50% discount) and I have to say, it is Chivalriffic. I've had a fair bit of fun with hacking apart my enemies.

Not sure 12.50 is what I'd want to pay for it (I've seen it far cheaper,) but for now it is free and quite entertaining.

Re: What Apps to get for Android??

I'd suggest Super Hexagon but it apparently does not like the Nexus 7 very much.. (input lag on a twitchy action game is bad) So instead something completely different: Splice! . It is a.. "Simple" puzzle game. You move pieces around to fit into a predetermined outline, in as few moves as ...

According to Volitions Twitter feed, Red Faction was not include with the sale of their studio. So it looks like they are just Saints Row now. I hope they come up with something new, I'd hate to see them pushed into a yearly sequel scenario.

From what I heard, Platinum Games were interested in Vigil. THAT would have been amazing news. They are interested in Darksiders, not Vigil, and only if it is cheap. I really hope someone comes through and snaps up Darksiders and Vigil, I played through Darksiders 1 and 2 in the past month and they...

I have to wonder how exactly HustleLRR can afford the moonbase and all their fancy equipment with only 73 viewers. Perhaps they're living off the ill-gotten gains of slightlynaughtynuns.com or rent-a-furry?

You can roll over peasants for extra cash. Peasants are people too, you classist jerkface.

Also, the ultimate goal of each and every level is to roll over the opposing leader, who is a person.

Re: Black Mesa Mod finally coming out!

So, Black Mesa is out and it is.. alright. They made a couple pretty bad choices in terms of controls and movement though. They clearly wanted jumping changed, so that there was only one real jump height, but their solution is completely ass-backwards. Rather than remove the jump-height benefit of c...

That isn't a bug, that is intentional. It was a change made specifically because people were turning their brightness and gamma up to max to get around the darkness of night.

Mann Up isn't worth the money, you can just use the private servers and run a vote to change the mission to one of the Advanced missions. It is the exact same ex...

The portal vouchers are because Valve added co-op support to the Perpetual Testing Initiative. They gave everyone that owns Portal 2 a coupon so they can have someone to play co-op with.
