We don't generally get much snow down here in D/FW...what we get instead is freezing rain and ice. We have only been regularly below freezing overnight this week. No ice yet.

Things that I have learned in this thread: - It's okay to acknowledge that Kate is "a looker." - "Squiddy" is Kate. Not Sean Howard. - Canadian public education is organized rather similarly to US public education, the largest notable difference being optional French for US children. - In Ontario, i...

Some friends of mine in college found an old Atari 2600 at a garage sale, and nabbed it. 1/2 the cartridges didn't work any longer, but a few did. $5 well-spent. Our nerdy Engineering Dweeb Fridays usually went like so: 18.00 - Dinner. 19.00 - Smoothie King. 19.30 - Booze run, as needed. 20.00 - Hea...

Any rant from Andy must be in the form of song. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST. Elaine Boozler was always pretty funny to me. And there was one other one, I can't remember her name, but she was deaf. She was an AMAZING stand-up comedian, obviously so amazing that I can't remember her name. Most of her jokes...

I had both a Sega MasterSystem AND an Amstrad. Neither one of them ran off of cassette tapes. The Amstrad was a real piece...NO hard drive. You'd sit down, and have two floppy bays staring back, blankly, at you... DOS was a complex series of steps using four floppies. I miss the MasterSystem. Maybe ...
