I never understood the concept of putting Crystal Pepsi in a can. I mean, seriously...in a can? The whole novelty of the product is lost once you put something whose only defining uniqueness is VISUAL into an opaque container! How do you know that they aren't really just giving you regular Diet Peps...

Veterans Day (US)

So today is Veterans Day. And I work at Lockheed, where a good 50% of the current employees are former-military. There is a huge snowball-email going around on my program, where all the veterans are tacking on inspirational / clever quotes from various generals and whatnot. Three times now , I have ...

The more reactions to this video I hear, the more I'm inclined to the hypothesis of, if someone gets pissed off by it, the video is probably about them. ...maybe this was why I sent him the link? PS to Aaron: I fully expect you to show yourself around here before the day is over...so I will give a ...

OH SNAP! I forwarded the link to this video to a scenester snob friend of mine that sent out a mass email to try and get a bunch of us to come down and see this awesome local band out of Austin. His reply to me: You know...one could argue that 'Funeral' is The Arcade Fire's sophomore album, and it'...

I would imagine that it probably wouldn't taste as good, either. Kinda like the inverse of the Crystal Pepsi concept...

I don't have too many door-to-door sales reps bothering me.

I usually get rid of telemarketers by making it sound like I was in the middle of / still participating in teh hawt secks.

Usually because I am.

Participating in hawt secks.

Sugar doesn't go bad. The worst thing that can happen to a candy cane (in my experience, anyways) is that it begins to break down on some wierd chemical level which is far beyond my comprehension, and, as a result, becomes softer, and sticks to your teeth. This was exactly the phenomenon I was thin...

{14} No shit. Morgan was #1 in the world on ZoneStats for MechWarrior4 . IMPRESSIVE. Which reminds me, I was marginally disappointed at the lack of Quake reference. Oh well. I'll just write my own, and pretend you guys sang it. I see you join the new Arena, scramble for a rail-gun. Try to snipe me ...

I will second Pjotr....Sheer Stupidity? More like Sheer Genius! I'm going to cross-post this video onto Dumbrella if it hasn't already been done.

And I have to seriously question the integrity of those candy canes. Were they 10-month-old leftovers from last Christmas?
