Re: Venting Thread Delta - Now With Easy to Follow Rules
So I was at Walmart today... Did some shopping... Got into the checkout line. Found one that only had 1 person to ring up, so I chose that line. Turns out it was a new cashier and a special circumstance that required the manager, and... various things culminated in making this one person long... So...

Re: The depressing depression thread
I'm searching for some good audio to listen to either before bed or while sleeping that has positive affirmations in it (cause the subconscious doesn't sleep and conscious mind often counters things like that if it's awake and being too negative...and I'm not suggesting it to be a depression cure, j...

To Mister_Blue_Sky if you come to forum again: Can't play Overwatch with us once it's out if you don't stick around in chat or other games so if you do come back here please try to not leave on impulse, it's the depression giving you the impulse which we understand and we hope to help before it beco...

Re: The depressing depression thread
Mister_Blue_Sky just went offline again leaving a note of giving up on chat. Yesterday he seemed to be doing better and called me friend while streaming. I don't know how to feel now. He's wrong about people not wanting him to be part of things. He was saying he was looking for something to do earli...

Re: The depressing depression thread
Feeling like a worthless sack of crap. I've entertained various thoughts today of just not going to work, not eating, not doing anything but laying down and doing nothing. Been trying to figure out what I have to live for rather than just count reasons why I shouldn't die. Edit : Being too depresse...

Re: Knocking on Death's Door
Is the topic title the title of the comic? If forum allows thread title changes I suggest change to add "Comic:" to the start of it so people don't think it might be a serious situation. I'm glad you aren't knocking on death's door just yet. I did a few reaper single panel gag comics a whi...

Re: The depressing depression thread
I'll rant here about why I may be feeling like I am feeling... Happy Birthday! I wrote the beginning of this a long time ago, and believe I posted it in the Share Your Art thread, but later on I sat down and finished it, trying to put feelings, sensations and mindsets into words. I posted it on my ...

Re: The depressing depression thread
Jenelmo, if the teacher knows the situation they'll probably grade them each of them accordingly...sounds like they may already know in this case but could tell her that so she and the teacher can talk and help her feel less overwhelmed or at least less taken advantage of. Hope it's a case of someon...

Re: The depressing depression thread
AdmiralMemo, if you were the person that told you you're stupid then Dutch guy has made an error (meaning well of course) because people with depression aren't stupid for having said that to themselves. Given the timing of Memo's first comment I would say it's likely the person he isn't naming is A...

Re: The depressing depression thread
The world would truly be a sadder place without you. Is there anything you want to talk about? Thank you for your kind words. I was encouraged to talk yesterday so I'm feeling brave enough to share a bit. I've been having bouts of serious thoughts of suicide and if I'd had a surefire way I might've...

Re: The depressing depression thread
So apparently I'm stupid and what I love is stupid and I'm a stupid person for loving it. :-( And you were told that by a stupid person with a stupid opinion who is stupid for having an opinion on what people should think is stupid. Don't let em get to you Memo. If you love it, it's not stupid. Adm...

I think this deserves sharing here too: TomSka's non-depressing video on depression Btw, I have come to the conclusion there have been a lot of helpful links and information posted in this thread over the last 105 pages. Does anybody think it would be a good idea for me to edit the first post and c...

Re: The depressing depression thread
But it's always worth asking: who or what am I angry at? In this case, it was particularly LRL Chat that I was upset at. Long story short, I was like "Please don't do the thing because it won't help me" and no less than three people immediately did the thing. :-( People are often trolls i...

Re: Anyone up for some tech support?!
Only way I'd ever fix malware issue is to fresh install the OS and put everything you know as clean back onto it. Try Malwarebytes for a good scanner program to scan periodically (I do around weekly while I take a nap). As for being able to visit some pages some of the time and not specific ones, I'...

I hope it's a vitamin with at least 1000IU of D3 which is the type to aim for. Somehow your comic made me feel better after seeing some art which made me feel overwhelmed a few days ago...I'm not sure why.

Jobs which keep you indoors for the best part of the sunlight hours of UVB without having on site sunlamps that replace the right amount of UVB to keep humans healthy should be outlawed.

Re: The depressing depression thread
Yeah, birthdays get less and less of a deal aside from maybe milestones with 0s in them or quarter centuries. I'd think it more depressing if I throw myself a party and few to no people show up. I share birthday events sometimes with people that have a birthday in the same month as me if they are ne...
