Re: Fitocracy: LoadingReadyRunners

Pokewalker: level your Pokemon too to get the most for your walk. Pokewalker is a BAD way to level your Pokemon due to the mechanics. It's so much better to use for rare captures. And well, to measure your steps. I've had my Pokewalker with me whenever I'm walking for a long time now... just checke...

Re: The Break

I would otherwise believe Cam is the ultimate seduction robot, but he cannot dance. This either means that he is imperfect and therefore not a robot, or that our robot overlords have glitchy dancing algorithms and thus we have a way to identify them without dissection. (But yeah, Cam has that vibe t...

Re: The Big Relationship Thread

I've just had a run of occasions where I've been pretty content with everything and then it's abruptly ended for one reason or another. Kind of hard to really enjoy the relationship when you keep wondering if it'll end any second now. I've had similar experiences, except they've been with my own bo...

I run a white Darksteel deck. Creatures that die to removal are for suckers.

(No, I actually run Red Standard Combo that packs lots of mana acceleration, Myr Galvanizers, Hoard-Smelters and Liquimetal Coatings, because I'm kinda of a dick like that, but that's neither here or there.)

Re: Wireless headphones

Yes. Yes I went there. The G35's height adjustment was horrible and clunky, the interchangeable head cushions at the top both sucked. Razer's height adjusters click into place brilliantly . The battery charger is at the top, in the middle of the awesomely comfortable head cushion and you don't even...

Razer. Chimaera. 5.1. Surround. Sound. Wireless. Gaming. Headset. You're facing Razer against Logitech? Just... no. Also, surround headsets? Also, no. Surround headsets tend to be horrible compromises - much more so in the case of 5.1 surround headsets - and neither Razer nor Logitech (excluding th...

Re: Wireless headphones

I used to use Sennheiser RS120 headphones for a long, long time - the supra-aural design is a bit uncomfortable, and they tend to switch to static after a period of silence. RS130 fixes the supra-aural problem by using circumaural design instead. The range's about 60 feet and the sound quality's bet...

Re: I blame LRR

I've never had a go at MtG, it looks quite complicated. Plus, it's a HUGE cash drop to get started... Not really. A starter deck comes with a booster and only runs you $15ish, that's enough to start playing. If you don't care about tournaments, lots of places offer big boxes of 1000/2000 cards for ...

To be fair, the cash drop is just an Event Deck and a Deck Builder's Toolkit to get started.

The boosters will drain your soul and wallet, however.

I missed the origin of the whole Africa thing. There must've been a seed moment that made it funny in the first place. Mumblecore. They were mumblecoring the song "Africa", and everyone was just mumbling until the "Africa" part which was so much louder than the rest of the song....

And more importantly vaccines don't have a thing to do with autism.

Also, being dead would stop autism but not prevent it. It's present from birth.

The mouse wheel is counted as five buttons. That probably accounts for your missing 4 buttons.

You guys together with D&D On Ice have had me spend hundreds if not thousands of dollars on Wizards product. Eeebil. I have a gripe, that gripe is that you don't have a D&D podcast. To be fair, I was already a fan enough of those things to have a Legend of the Spelljammer boxed set, so not l...

Well there's the Hybrid Sexuality Scale, which expands upon the Kinsey Scale, and the Klein Sexual Orientation Grid. Both of those share the same problem. They are useless for illustrating a point. They are way too complex for that, while offering little additional benefit. (EDIT: That is, when try...

If it isn't safe, buy it bottled. If you don't like the taste, man up and deal with it; that much sugar is insanely unhealthy. I'm no dietician (and to be honest at my university us from the other paramedical studies snicker about the dieticians because they are pretty odd folk by and large), could...
