Re: Steven Universe

I'm curious how children will see the mature themes in the show. The corruption is very dark!

I enjoyed watching it, but it started giving me travel sickness.

Re: Pokemon GO!

I lost Pokeballs due to lack of polish, and I have no way of getting more.
It's definitely not in a release state. Unplayable in some populated areas of the world for a game that's about travelling isn't great.

Re: Venting Thread Delta - Now With Easy to Follow Rules

I don't like this feeling after I decline covering a shift from work. I've been given my rota for the coming week and I decide my activities on the day off (I have more in my life than working). Then when I get asked about doing an unexpected additional shift, I say I cannot since I have already com...

Re: Venting Thread Delta - Now With Easy to Follow Rules

Accepted two friend requests from people from work on Facebook. First message they send is asking if I want to cover/swap shifts. Fuck off.

Re: Pokemon GO!

I am still out of Pokeballs.

I tried going around town where I work to hunt for Pokestops. Whenever I got to one, there was no free Wi-Fi in the area.

This game is unplayable for me.

Re: Pokemon GO!

My bus journey into work let me investigate the route for GOness.

In fact, I'm only a mile away from basic Gym and stops.

But still, that's one mile to restock on Pokeballs. The intent is to restock at "base" and go out to catch. Not the other way round.

Re: Pokemon GO!

Both? It's great that it encourages people to go outside, and effectively have hours of fun for free (in the city). But it is frustrating that some of us have to go to a lot more of an effort to get the similar experience as others who are playing. It's resurrecting emotions in me about the trading ...

It's summer which means everyone is busy having fun on holidays or outings and sharing it on Facebook.
And I've sat at home all day in the beautiful weather because I am trapped at my home.

Re: Pokemon GO!

I have no Pokeballs to use.
I have no eggs.

It would just be a 4 mile walk for Pokeballs.

Re: Pokemon GO!

I'm out of Pokeballs. There are not any Pokestops on the map around my house. I don't know if there are any stops nearer to me in a 4 miles radius. I realise that this game puts you into a position for me of; do I buy a bus ticket to the next Pokestop or buy Pokeballs? I could walk the 4 miles, but ...

One floor to up to one or two walls and a floor.

I don't know if USB Wifi varies based on what type of USB port it's in (2.0 or 3.0) or brand/model.

The Ethernet connection is good when it's registered by the PC.

Re: Advice Thread

I don't mind buying new stuff since it could be seen as an investment, and I have a job that earns me £550 a month . A problem with installation in the property is that it involves negotiating with my parents. Given daddy has upgraded the internet (and only told me a month afterwards), it will proba...

Re: Pokemon GO!

I don't know what I am doing. I cannot leave my house since I won't have a connection. So I'm at home catching the local Pokemon that walks too close. I'm a lazy version of a real hunter in this regard.

Re: This thread is so gay

Anxiety grew over the day. In a mixed bag, he was late. Which meant over 30 minutes my anxiety drained, to be replaced by worry. Worry that I wasn't clear enough with agreement and I didn't ensure it would still happen. Worry about his wellbeing. When I came to explain, I did find it hard to find th...

It was good. Friendship still exists and he was really supportive and grateful that I told him. He is someone who I want to share everything with, so it was strange that for some reason I was hesitant to tell him my sexuality. I asked how to speak to him about something, and said that I would have p...

Spoke to my mum about my discontent about my work. Got a mixture of "we'll support you getting home" and "I've had worse jobs than you" (true, we both had an emotionally abusive colleague [a non-paid former job], so you win) and "you can't expect to be paid to sit down doing...
