Re: Star Wars: The Old Republic

Just got this a couple days ago for my birthday. I'm playing a Sith Inquisitor/Sorceror and am actually having a lot of fun. Surprising, considering how extremely difficult it is for me to get into an MMO. I'm hopeful that I won't get bored of this and quit in a week like I normally do!

Re: Menswear

@ Aeralis; You said you got that vest tailored? Maybe you should take it back. To me, it looks way too loose on you. Yeah, it's a bit looser than I would have liked, but by the time it was available to be picked up there wasn't any time left for more alterations. I'm sure I can make some tweaks to ...

Re: Menswear

Gah, sorry for the delay. I got sidetracked by birthday stuffs. http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i213/Aeralis/clothes.jpg The black in the shirt is a little more visible normally, but not by much. If a splash of color would be good, I also have this awesome tie I could wear. It's black with light a...

Re: Menswear

I won't have the vest back until tomorrow morning, but I can get pics of the shirt and pants up in a little bit. I have a white shirt, but not a grey tie. I'm also basing the color scheme of the outfit off of the ceremonial birthday sombrero I will be forced* into wearing, which is black with silver...

Re: Menswear

Hey fellas, I just wanted a few quick opinions from everyone. Remember that waistcoat I was talking about a while back? Well I ended up getting it, and I'm picking it up from the tailor tomorrow. I'll be wearing it to my birthday dinner tomorrow night, but I want to make sure I wear it right. It's a...

Re: This thread is so gay

I've learned to be a bit reserved when faced with this kind of news. Yeah, it's great, but there's tons of past precedent that says that it could be reversed just as quickly.

Re: Foods What We Have Made And Eaten

Yeah, I always season my sauces pretty heavily, so I gotta account for that too. I'm thinking maybe a light dusting of sage, or maybe just the oregano and basil.

Re: Foods What We Have Made And Eaten

I'll be making my second-ever lasagna in a couple days. My first one came out a bit sloppy, but still delicious. I'm hoping to get this one to come out much better! What does everyone season their ricotta cheese with? I usually use oregano, basil, rosemary, and sometimes maybe even some red pepper f...

Re: The Big Relationship Thread

SevenFields, while it is true that some people can still be friends after a break-up, it's an entirely different beast when you still have feelings for the other person. And from what you said, even ignoring that she's in a new relationship, it really sounds like she doesn't feel the same way as you...

So, I, uh... I kinda met someone. Wasn't really expecting to, but I'm really interested to see where this goes. Maybe I'll have a surprise valentine after all. :)

Re: Menswear

So at work today, I came across a rather nice waistcoat. Rather inexpensive, too, so I was all over it. I tried it on when I got off, but it ended up being way too big. Rather disappointing, considering it was the last one we had. We also have a few single-button jackets that match it perfectly, but...

Re: This thread is so gay

This woman's choice of words makes me sad, because I know it shouldn't matter, but it really, really does. If everyone was strong enough to fight for who they are and what they want, it wouldn't matter that some claim that being gay is a choice, because it would be a completely baseless accusation. ...

Started it yesterday with the intention of watching it in chunks, but ended up blasting through the whole thing. A VERY interesting project, and highly entertaining, though there were definitely too many "omg look how cute our kids are" clips.

Re: Menswear

I myself just started to realize the numerous benefits to clothes that actually fit only about a year or so ago. I was always in the mindset that clothes that are a little bit baggier are more comfortable, but then I started getting smaller shirts, and the lack of billowing or looseness is actually ...

Ok, first off, I think I'm going into a diabetic coma from all the sugary cuteness over there. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little jealous! :p Now, I know it's not something that you can just immediately start doing, but really, don't worry about it. He wants you to be happy, and seeing you fre...

Re: Ubisoft, taking duchebaggery to a new level...again

I find no surprise at all in the fact that Ubisoft is continuing to be terrible. I would count myself lucky that the only game to come out of them that I care about at all is Beyond Good & Evil, but to be fair, Ubisoft itself is a large portion of the reason why that series isn't getting finishe...

I haaaaaaate Final Fantasy VII. Like, we're talking "force of a thousand suns, and they're all vomiting" hate. I can't think of anything positive about it I can mention outside of generic "optional bosses and post-game content whee!" points, and it was a piss-poor follow-up to FF...

Re: Foods What We Have Made And Eaten

FREDERICK?!

The spaghetti bread sounds like a good idea, but when I had it, the pasta and the bread together was a little overwhelming in the starch department. It was a fun experiment, but it was rather unanimously decided to make it without the pasta and more meat/sauce next time.
