Re: The depressing depression thread

Nothing is going right for me right now. I've barely left the house in days. I can't bring myself to do anything. And nobody around me seems to be taking it seriously. My doctor won't even return my calls. And I'm starting to have some dark thought in my head. I don't know what to do.

Re: The depressing depression thread

Once again I didn't get much sleep last night. As usual, everybody else in the house makes noise until 2am so I can't sleep. And if I complain, I get told off for interrupting their movie/whatever else they feel like doing at 2am. And now the neighbour has had contractors coming at 7am and working w...

Paranormal Experiences

So with halloween come and gone, I got to thinking about spooky stuff. And I got to wondering if anyone else had any paranormal experiences to share. Personally, I used to be very into ready about ghosts as a kid and had a strong belief in them. I once stayed in an old heritage house for a few days ...

Re: The thread of win

Just had a job interview at Toys R Us. It's not in my chosen field, but it's a step forward. Also, my nephew's first birthday is coming up this weekend, so that's fun.

Re: The depressing depression thread

I've been sitting at home for most of the day so I've had some time to think and clear my head. Yesterday's trip to the hospital was definitely a tipping point for me and the news is not getting any better. I'm still feeling pretty low but I've managed to drag myself out of my hole just enough to st...

Re: The depressing depression thread

I actually have been seeing a psychiatrist every month or so, but it doesn't seem to be helping me very much. The only solution the doctor has given me has been various medications. When I went to her after having insomnia for several weeks, she offered me pills. That seemed to work fine at first, b...

Re: The depressing depression thread

I haven't been this depressed in a long time. Everywhere I look, something is wrong. I get frequent migraines and chronic pain. I can't even sleep anymore unless I take medication to knock me out. When I go to my doctor, she listens to my problems and prescribes medication to fix it and the medicati...

Re: The depressing depression thread

I found out today that my friend's dog passed away. Obviously my friend was more upset because it was her dog but the news made me sad too. We've been friends for a long time, and I was there when her dog was brought home as a puppy 15 years ago. The last time I saw her dog, she was old and grey and...

Re: Venting Thread Delta - Now With Easy to Follow Rules

And now it turns out they're taking my mail too. I only found out because I was cleaning up one of they're messes and found my mail mixed in with theirs. I've been wondering why my new driver's license never showed up and spent hours trying to get it sorted out at the license office. I just managed ...

Re: Venting Thread Delta - Now With Easy to Follow Rules

Warning, angry rant ahead I am so god damn sick and tired of living with these people. I feel like I'm living with a bunch of children. They are immature, selfish, bratty, rude and even abusive. They go out of their way to annoy me because they think it's funny. They demand that I do things ...

Re: Venting Thread Delta - Now With Easy to Follow Rules

I am extremely sleep deprived but I still have to go into the license office today. I renewed my driver's license back in July. The new one hasn't shown up and my old one expires on Monday.

Re: The General Chat thread

I really don't know what to think about the new Pokemon games. I was honestly bored and disappointed when I played White 2, partly because it was exactly the same as White. And all the content they're adding to the new games honestly kind of just seems silly to me. On the other hand, so many of my f...

Re: Venting Thread Delta - Now With Easy to Follow Rules

Today has just been... one of those days. I've been having migraines on and off since yesterday so that already puts me in a bad mood. I woke up at 8am this morning when some jackasses down the street started cutting down a tree. So sleep deprived, sore and nauseous from my migraine, I tried to forc...

Re: Foods What We Have Made And Eaten

I'm so proud of myself. I've started trying to cook more so I can eat better and I tried a new recipe the other night. It was haddock with a creamy sauce made from a little bit of mayonnaise, margarine, parmessan, basil and garlic powder. I also steamed some asparagus to go with it and it was delici...

Re: The depressing depression thread

I'm still feeling pretty low. Not as bad as I was, but I keep thinking about work and the fact that I haven't been able to get a job of any kind yet and it makes me feel depressed. I keep having to force myself to leave the house and socialize, but it helps.

I have a very small amount of experience with selling t shirts online. I was never actually fully successful, but I tried to go through Threadless. Re: The depressing depression thread

Things are just not working out lately and I'm getting more and more depressed. I've been trying for about a month now to find a new job since my last one ended. I've literally tried every possible employer in the city to apply for a job, many of which are advertising that they're hiring. Only one a...
