Skyrim assistance sought (SPOILER WARNING)

Okay, this is just ANNOYING now. I'm in Saarthal, looking at a portcullis operated by a lever. There are six movable pillars around me, which have to be set in the right order to avoid being pincushioned by The Poison Dart Trap Of Infinite Ammunition(tm) and open the door. I've absorbed enough toxin...

Re: Rarelywinter

I hate to be Mr Pedantic but while I applaud Graham's knowledge of 40K in that Orks reproduce from spores, I have to put my foot down on the assertion that Space Marines are grown in vats. The original 20 primarchs were indeed grown in capsules, however modern day (as in the last few millenia) spac...

Re: Modern Warfare 3 preparation

I'll agree that the last level was not so good, but the outcome was satisfying. As for the lack of surprises, I felt the same way, but I put that down to my own experience. Not much surprises me in digital entertainment these days. Not bragging, but there just aren't that many original ideas any more.

Re: Modern Warfare 3 preparation

It does. 32 Spec Ops levels in two game modes with Co-Op, Multiplayer, weapon levels, new weapons (including the notorious XM-25) and of course attack hyenas.

Re: Modern Warfare 3 preparation

Same here, but that's due to Specs Ops and Multi. I have a friend who started playing the SP campaign at the same time as me, on Veteran, and he finished it in just under 10 hours. Just not that long...

Re: Modern Warfare 3 preparation

While I would never rent or buy second-hand games myself, if you only want the single-player game then MW3 is not worth the full price.

Re: Modern Warfare 3 preparation

Well, that was the MW3 SP campaign. Good story in a well-known engine, but no more than a taster before Spec Ops and Multi-Player. Was over (on Regular difficulty) in 4 hours and 45 minutes.

It had a good sense of closure to the MW saga.

I know SR isn't an FPS. It IS silly, though... Looks like the upcoming third installment will be the silliest yet.
