Re: GPLP: Dante's Inferno

I may be wrong here, but from what we've seen so far this guy who killed Dante managed to escape the battle in Acre then, made his way to Florence alone and then tracked down Dante's wife (and father) whom he then murdered as revenge for Dante sleeping with (note: not killing) his wife. He managed t...

Re: GPLP: Dante's Inferno

Maybe I didn`t notice it because of the quality of the video, but now I`m curious to know what it was exactley Paul and Brad saw when Cleo was climbing the tower You could probably hazard a guess, given the context of the character and level design... The scythe babies coming out though, not so muc...

Yeah. I mean, that was intentional right? Someone on the sound team thought the dialogue needed that.

Re: GPLP: Dante's Inferno

Why is Cleopatra in charge of the lust circle? And what was it about her that made them think 'giant purple woman with mouths instead of nipples'? Also, that all QTE 'sex-fight' may be one of the most of the most face-palm worthy things I've seen in a while.

Re: GPLP: Dante's Inferno

Wait, if the judgement takes place on the far side of the river, what are all those guys doing in the walls on the doing on the first bank? Are they shipped back across after or something? great episode, definitely worth the wait. Oh and Orpheus was a hero, which for the greeks was similar to being ...

Re: GPLP: Dante's Inferno

I'm pretty sure Charon IS pronounced ˈkɛərɒn, with a K sound, not a "tsh". And I'm pretty sure I've also seen it spelt with a K. Correct. The ancient Greeks didn't go so much for the soft "ch" sound. So much for Brad's expert knowledge! :P To be fair, he never claimed to be an e...

Re: Mortal Kombat

No kidding. Soul Calibur and DOA come to mind... The thing that always gets me about DOA is that someone had to actually decide to have each breast to move completely independently of the other. It was something that was specifically coded-in, presumably after having been brought-up in design meeti...

Re: Miniature Wargamers Assemble

I've been looking into Malifaux actually, and I really like it. I did a trial game of it a while ago and had a lot of fun. The minis look really nice too. It is pretty good, from what I've seen of it. The card-based mechanic is an interesting feature (as is the 'choose your own objectives' method o...

Re: 23 - Powerless and Nude

Alex's puns were un-bear-able. I do strongly approve of Judge Pimp Santa, however. WRT Alex's "are the models vampires?" remark: The models could go out during the day, they just needed to cover their cooters. Clearly this is a case of... Vampginas! My god... we can only hope not; the pros...

See: the top post. Fugi put it up, so you don't have to download it. <3 for Fugi. That was quite possibly the most epic thing I have seen in months. I don't entirely "get" it. I don't think anyone entirely 'gets' Homestuck (possibly including its creator), not until it finishes and can vi...

Re: Episode 25 - The Ultimate Scrolldown

I dunno, while I generally agree with Russ on a lot of things I'm afraid I'm going to have to go with Russ on this one. While Russ did do an excellent job there's only so much he could have hoped to do against a debater as formidable as Russ, although I'd still be tempted to award him some Checkpoin...
