Re: 48 things that will make you feel old

It's probably the cultural difference between the US and the Netherlands, but the only thing that made me feel old on that list was the N64.

Re: The Big Relationship Thread

I read that your brains aren't "mature" until around you're 25, so don't worry to much about that.
I have the problem that I like a lot of girls, but never get really smitten with one, at least not one I see on a regular enough basis to find out.

Re: The Avengers

By the way, doesn't that "other guy just spit it out" scene he describes originate from a game intro? I remember having seen that cutscene before the movie and finding it a perfect symbol of Bruce's Curse, so I loved it when Whedon used that as a reference.

Re: Any book ideas floating around?

humor and demons, sounds like a great idea actually :) I do have an idea for a Sci-Fi show, which the Netherlands is greatly lacking in, but that is for later in life. Still, I have a little dream about being a novelist/writer and the thing people always say is if you want to get good at it, you nee...

When I saw it, the audience laughed out loud as well. I think every audience did, it was just great timing and totally unexpected.

Re: Elder Scrolls MMO

I'm not waiting for a MMO, cause I don't play them and I'm a bit afraid this will make the wait for a new Single-Player Elder Scrolls game longer. But we'll see how it turns out, no?

Re: The Avengers

What I really liked was the way the heroes were introduced. I would have thought we would be following everyone seperately, swapping perspective alot, but instead they threw 2 or 3 together and just started building that group out, one man after the other. And the PUNY GOD scene was totally a Whedon...

Re: Doctor Who

So I finished season 5 yesterday (Smiths first season) and loved the finally (something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue :D) I like Smiths doctor: very scatter brained professor. But man, can you see the head writer changed with him. The show is a lot darker and more serialized...

Man, I just went back and watched Andy's scene. Thats what you get watching Eureka before getting into LRR proper: You miss these things.
Stellar preformace Andy, you really sold the confusion :)
And if your source is correct Dale, then I better start watching this next season :D

Re: LRRchenemy (Magic: Archenemy custom schemes)

I would say, reskin "My Undead Horde awakens" into "The Dutch, again!"

As for a original card:
Is someone doing Science in here?
When you set this scheme in motion, search target players library for an artifact card and put it onto the battlefield under your control.

Re: Story of Modern Warfare 3 - Missed opportunities (SPOILE

Personally I wouldn't have made the story centered on these guys so much. The strength of MW1's story was that while looking at the story of the different characters the events where all forced by the events which happened TO them. The over-arching event of a war in the middle-east gone bad. MW3 is...

Story of Modern Warfare 3 - Missed opportunities (SPOILERS!)

So this evening I finished the singleplayer of MW3 (didn't buy it, played it on my brother's PS3). As the last few scenes and the credits rolled I could only think of one thing: The story was pretty plain, but could have been made much more heavy with just a few touches here and there: - At the end,...

Re: Nature and time doesn't factore into Arizona law

I, for one, am deeply concerned about MEN'S health and safety. Anyone else? I mean, from what I've heard no one is passing medical laws on behalf of all the menfolk out there, and that doesn't seem fair. How can we, in good conscience, worry about the health and safety of half the population, while...
