Re: U.S. Election Day

I like the spontaneous cheering crowd at the White House. Also I am curious to see how people will react if Obama wins the electoral votes, but loses the popular vote. It will be interesting to see how many people who scoffed at the Gore-Bush Election will now be up in arms about this election.

Mourdock goes down and Warren get's in. Along with King in Maine, looks like the Senate might stay blue. King is Independent, and he is replacing Snowe, who was pro-choice, pro-gay marriage, pro gun control, and voted against the Bush tax cuts, so her seat might as well have been blue (Same Idea fo...

No the pronounced it "mill", not quite as strange as "Coal fired gas plant" but close, it's like they didn't even read the word. After calling them "Wind Mills" throughout the add, they finish the commercial calling them "Wind Turbines" (prounced Tur-byne) rig...

Re: U.S. Election Day

This morning i heard one of my suite mates say that he isn't even registered, and he is almost 30 which means he has gone 3 presidential elections without voting. It saddens me that this is not a lone instance. The big problem with American "democracy" is that our votes actually have the ...

And this is exactly why the wait times have been such a huge, newsworhty issue over the last couple days. Voter disenfranchisement is a fucking HUGE problem. Yeah, they may have been impatient and kinda snotty, but for every additional minute it takes to place a vote, every ID requirement, every li...

My friends are toning it down with the jokes. On the other hand, I'm changing the place where I used to hang out. The security guard there is really friendly but people have suggested I avoid him. A few weeks ago he gave me his number, I told him I had a boyfriend and he said he'd like to be just f...

And I know it's not really the point of this thread, but Kapol, you really should make a point of seeing the first and third Indiana Jones movies. I second this, and while you can watch the other two the ones with the Nazis are the only great ones. I have yet to see any of the Godfather movies or S...

With the new movies set centuries after the original trilogy, the inevitable character who looks just like Boba Fett will be explained away as a descendant of the clones. And there will be some expository dialogue that explains how the Ewoks told Chewbacca the secret to eternal life out of gratitud...

There must be a point where that level of cH (xcH if you will)is so awful that when they try to make a cH version of themselves it just ends up being LRR again.

Jak and Daxter, because I love Naughty Dog's games. Although I don't know what you use to record these so a PS2 title might not work very well. Prototype or Imfamous would be fun to watch, not sure if open world mission based games like those would work though.

Yes, yes they are. The games themselves are great too, but any game where I can run around quoting The Tick is a great game to me.
