Re: The 'Guild Wars' & 'Guild Wars 2' Thread.
Actually, I've figured it out. It was just an issue of AVG's firewall being a bit overzealous. Working on downloading the client now.

Re: The 'Guild Wars' & 'Guild Wars 2' Thread.
Really? For whatever reason the copy of the client downloader I have just doesn't work. For a few seconds it holds at 0/KBs per second before saying that there's something wrong with my internet and calling it a day.

Re: The 'Guild Wars' & 'Guild Wars 2' Thread.
Stress test? Does that mean they're turning on the download servers for the client? If so I was planning on "cheating" today and going to the Google Fiber Space in downtown KC to download it there.

As of today GW2 has been pre-purchased. Later today I'll log back into GW1 to check all of my characters for birthday presents that can be added to the Hall of Monuments.

Deeds, every time I see an example of your art it just gets better and better. So, I haven't actually posted any art in this art thread for a while now (Since page six . I checked.) because apparently I'm a terrible excuse for and artist and a human being. Tomorrow I have not one, but two photoshoot...

I'm still trying to double-back through the recordings of each keynote, having thus far only watched EA, Ubisoft and Nintendo's. At the moment the only things to peak my interest are the South Park game and a new trailer for the Tomb Raider reboot . Beyond that? Eh... I've heard about Microsoft's &q...

My girlfriend has accused me of something recently, and the more she says it, the less of a counter-argument I seem to have. I don't think I can deny it any longer.
I think I might be a hipster.

I've seen it (don't ask how) and... it's not quite what I expected. Granted, that might be that, thanks to the trailers, I was expecting something along the lines of "Mars Attacks!", but with Moon Nazis. Alas, no. It was still enjoyable for what it was and it had it's moments. I'd say it's...

Today I'm going to take the time to give my regards to my grandfather, my step-dad and my cousin (who have either served or are serving) and I'm going to feel damn grateful that I still have the ability to do so.

My bed is a standard full size/double sized bed. There's enough room for both of us to, say, sleep back-to-back, but more often than that we're both in the center of the bed snuggling (the girlfriend is an epic snuggler). For the most part the default way we try to sleep is with me just laying flat ...

More updates on the car front; I've been given a number. The insurance company has given me an offer of $2,669 to total out Audrey, my dearly departed Saab. Considering how old she was I'm actually kind of surprised I'm getting that much. Right now my lawyer is discussing getting my "inconvenie...

Here's a random question that I wouldn't mind a bit of input on. In your experience how long has it taken you to get use to sleeping with your partner? ... and I do mean sleep . Get your mind out of the gutter. So far the girlfriend has spent the night a few times and, for the most part, we've both ...

As of yesterday I finally "won" a running battle with AT&T's general ineptitude and got internet working at my new apartment. Two weeks behind schedule. At any rate, with the wireless network now up and running I'm officially considering us "moved in". Meanwhile, on the 10th,...
