I was more distracted by the lack of a comma in the phrase "suck that psychologist"... My mistake there, I've been up since 6am to move the store's stock around on the shop floor. I'm a little blarrrrrg at the moment. It's ok, I've got the maturity of a 12-year old and was quick to spot t...

Okay, so I'm lucky enough to always end up with good nurses. . . and my veins are rather large. . . but still, you shouldn't expect weird experiences like that, merely be aware of their possibility, right? True, but the bad experiences (whether yours or someone else's) tend to stick in the mind. Ad...

Nice timing, I just gave blood this morning. Almost up to 50 donations - gold donor card, here I come! I was wondering why metcarfre's question list looked wrong, but it looks like that's the American list. The Canadian list adds the phrase "since 1977 have you..." to the beginning of most...

I haven't needle felted before (just felted some knitted fabric for a purse), but I have the feeling that the too fuzzy problem could be fixed by more needle stabbing. Other than that, I'll third the suggestion for asking Tally.

Rocket, you're actually in the better of two countries for this situation. It's a blanket generalization, but the cost of shipping a parcel to a Canadian address from the US (via the US postal system) is usually equal or less than the cost of sending the same parcel to the same address within Canada...

Sharkleen was hilarious. Where did you get the metroid cap from? Or the design to knit the hat from? http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2579/4086102105_3d8b421c03_d.jpg It was a Desert Bus craft-along item from 2009.
