Not so, if you are playing 'Suicide' Mornington Crescent it's a great way of forcing an opponent into forward play. Then again the whole point of the suicide variant is to try and lose which is a silly way to abuse a rule system built up over so many years.

Already been linked, there was more than one remix and the one that was being kept as a fund raiser isn't available yet.

I may have misunderstood it then but what I thought had been said is that people in certain areas couldn't access the videos.

Re: Broken video?
Does the database allow for the crew to add a 'this video is hosted by Rever, it may not be available to all regions' note to pages or would that mean going to each page manually and therefore totally not worth the effort? I only found out the videos I couldn't watch were on Rever as it was mentione...

Ah yes the 'dubstep' remix, I've been looking forward to it as well, I assume the hold up is working out a way to charge for downloads and have proceeds go to childs play. It was an awesome remix and I hope it appears sometime soon.

Re: Greatest game designer currently working: Your call?
This is a tough call, after watching the Extra Credits episode on the subject of game design it becomes clear that the idea of one man leading from the front is not really how the industry works anymore. Though as for a team I would say Team Ico is up there and so Fumito Ueda is also. Going back a b...

Huh, well I won't complain as a new game means I'm not stuck playing Breaks. Crystal Palace let's see if we can keep this game above the belt this time, we don't want someone deliberately placing the game on a backward turn and leaving in frustration as happened in this years british national champi...

If America decided to filter all internet traffic going through the main transatlantic cables it would cause horrendous backlash. That said as someone living in England, while a lot of sites I visit are based in America, America is not the internet force it often believes itself to be. The people wh...

I've been eyeing this for a while but as with all Wii games I look at the price and find it hard to justify, I'd love to hear people opinions once it's out as otherwise I'll either not get it or wait until I see it for £10 pre owned or something.

I fear Dibria has inadvertently overlooked that 1994 revision of the Clapham Junction Diagonal Protocol that allows a shunt on the vertical axis *head desk* - wow, that's embarrassing, I entirely forgot about the revisions as I'm so used to the HKT rule set, which you doubtless know, uses Clapham J...

Re: Mornington Crescent
That wasn't very clever, that would be fine if we were playing straight Clapham Junction Diagonals but with the Bejing rule set as silly mid on I could go to Kings Cross and from there the next person could leapfrog all the way to Mornington Crescent! In the interest of keeping things going and givi...

I had surmised he was likely a physicist I was just surprised at his choice of using Angstroms, I was however sufficiently dense to completely miss his location. Really I just wanted to post that joke, although it was told to me by a biologist and them criticising chemistry as the soft option is alw...

I strongly suspect sir, that you are a chemist, only chemists use angstroms - it was something of a joke at my university;

Either way I will say Fenchurch street but it is kind of important to establish which rule set you decided on before jumping in.

It took me quite a while to work out how it was an angry birds dress, if someone hadn't told me I would assume it was one of those unhappy coincidences that leads to 'When you see it you'll shit bricks' comments on 4chan.

No I haven't tried the Beijing variant though you have me intrigued, I started playing Hong Kong Tournament rules at university because we often had too large a group to be competitive if we all played but two few to make two real games. Does the Beijing variant still have you ignore parallels in ce...

Re: A Research Survey About Fallout 3
I have to concede that, New Vegas certainly felt more... natural, than Fallout 3 - the setting was somewhat more believable, as long as you ignore Ceasar's Legion anyway. I am entertained by the concept of a group of people emerging from a vault beneath Ceasars' Palace in Las Vegas and mistaking the...

Re: Mornington Crescent
'Stovoid's Mainline'? Why not just play monopoly if you're going to simplify the rules to that extent, any rule set that let you go from Park Lane to Mornington Crescent via a trim is built purely to be accessible at the expense of strategy. I used to play a lot using Hong Kong Tournement Rules but ...
