Re: Ways to Ruin a Job interview

If only I had seen this when I had my GAP year interview- I would have got a response straight away, rather than having to wait to April.

Re: Ways to Ruin a Job interview

I assumed the faint grey blur was the blurring. I don't know much about video making, but surely he could have blurred the text without the huge oval being really obvious.

Re: Ways to Ruin a Job interview

Ok...but that doesn't really explain why that oval shaped thing is there.

Re: Ways to Ruin a Job interview

I was going through some old videos, including this one, when something caught my eye.

It seems like some sort of Easter egg , but I'm not sure what the significance is.

Hopefully someone can shed some light on this.

Re: Paper Boy

Is having a little bit after the credits a thing that you've started doing for the Escapist? Because I don't really remember them being that many in other videos previous to 'The job' and 'Paper boy'.

Relaxing, having had a very busy and exhausting weekend, is win.

I must be doing life wrong - I'm more tired at the end of the weekend than I was at the beginning!

Re: Do you use the ringtones from the wiki?

Yes. My phone is so old I actually used WAP to go on the wiki site and download it from there.

I use the full theme for calls, and I want to use the cH one for texts, but it won't let me :(

Someone plagiarises it. See all the pretty couples embracing See them smile and their eyes dance While whiteness falls all around Encapsulating the scene in a moment of serenity Clutching each others hands Like a sacred bond between to the death I view from afar knowing how that was And secretly wis...

I stand alone in a crowd Crying. The inward turning fury that fills me Makes me want to scream and shout, Yet I only shrug. To say no is to be a “pussy”. I have my way, I do my thing But why should I “man up”? Who knows what is manly? I sure don’t. Seething inside, adjusting to fit in, Frustratingly...

As always, you are my councillor! ;P This is the cake my ex-girlfriend (except she wasn't my girlfriend at that point) made for me. The gray thing is Le Penseur if you can't work it out. http://photos-d.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc3/hs119.snc3/16667_338429545576_585975576_9761172_3559004_n.jpg

1) Yes I really did say that after 6 days. I believe that "love you" is in effect saying "I care about you a lot and am hoping you are ok", whereas "I love you" is obviously the more...serious (?) phrase. 2) My love of her cakes...and by cakes, I mean this: http://photo...

Re: The Big Relationship Thread

Oh where to start. For those that haven't seen my post already, I am the guy who iamafish references on the 25th November 2009. I am the guy that out did him with getting a girlfriend. I would like to point out that she dumped me 6 days later. At 11pm. By phone. I think it may have been to do with t...

Hi! I'm Mark, 18, and got introduced to LRR et al by iamafish before a Rise Against gig. I am also, if you want to check, the guy who he references in his post on the 25 November in the relationship thread (its about page 56 or so). Into rock music, though have quite a wide range of genres that I li...
