I wonder if the remaining X2Y videos would cause copyright problems.

Take note about Firefox compatibility. It's a bit... unorthodox.

That is, Firefox isn't compatible with half of the Android phones out there.

Anyways, thank you to those who do donate, and thanks to those who WANT to donate but can't, be it from irrational yet totally legitimate phobias or cautious yet discriminatory policies. So what about those of us who want to donate, but believe it'd be bad for their health? (My condition isn't infe...

Why? Well one, it's a rationalization. People don't like coming to terms with their downfalls. No one wants to say that the object of their affections doesn't reciprocate because they're a smelly loser nerd who can't help but talk about Yu-Gi-Oh strategies in their presence. It hurts to think that ...

Also can't.

Would worsen my condition, which requires me to monitor my fluid intake precisely or be sent into the hospital for dehydration very easily. And then possibly surgery to repair damage caused by dehydration.

Re: Episode 5 - Secret C.O.D.E.

Yeah, Graham's Checkpoints line was the highlight. Overall, though, Checkpoint has been great, and this one was very good too.

EDIT: Though, there was slight greenscreen failure with Jer's segment. Or an encoding error if greenscreen wasn't used.

You should make a doll of her. And then act out the scenarios she might get into with that doll. Then you should teach her the best way to react in those scenarios, that she won't come to any harm. And you should also observe her to see she properly follows your advice - though, without her knowing ...

Re: Thoughts on Sony's current Playstation Network woes?

It strikes me as funny that everyone screams and yells at Sony when they aren't responsible for this. Whoever compromised the network is the one who should be receiving our wrath. Sure, it is up to Sony to keep everything locked down and I can guarantee they will always be doing everything they can...

Well, if you're assuming that Mother Nature is both a wizard and hates us, then I suppose there's nothing I can do to convince you otherwise. To everyone else, we're both seeing global warming and it's predicted effects. I don't really know what other proof you could possibly require. And to everyon...

Re: Shoppers' Paralysis (help me choose a computer)

So this would be a bad time to say that I love my Acer laptop? Had it for 2 years now and I've only ever had two problems with it. 1) The wifi card crashes every now and again (but I suspect this is vista's fault and it's cured by a simple reboot) 2) If it gets really warm there's a piece of metal ...

Re: Shoppers' Paralysis (help me choose a computer)

Macs do get viruses, people just don't make them for them because they think the people who use macs suffer enough already There are anti viruses, with good reason too because macs getting more popular there will be some popping up soon enough. Apple has built an antivirus system in OSX, and have j...

Re: Shoppers' Paralysis (help me choose a computer)

Using laptop on lap is poor ergonomics and would shortly render you with a bad back and carpel tunnel not to mention hot without a cooler between. Already have a bad back, so maybe that. However, the laptop doesn't get hot on my lap when the discrete graphics card is turned off. I don't use it on m...

I use a Dell Inspiron with a 15,4 inch widescreen and relatively strong number crunching powers. Yet I can get about 3 hours out of a battery (Even more when it was new). I just need something between my laptop and my lap if I want to use it that way. I use an UL30Vt and get that amount of battery ...

Re: Shoppers' Paralysis (help me choose a computer)

One important piece of advice. It might be CALLED a LAPtop but do NOT use it directly on your lap. This most often blocks several vents or intakes and causes a lot of dust buildup inside the case. And more importantly a laptop gets pretty damn warm (uncomfortably so at times) This would be why I re...

Re: Shoppers' Paralysis (help me choose a computer)

If you wanted, you could probably get a decent desktop and a little netbook for about the same price as a fancy laptop. That way, you could still have the power of a desktop and the ability to take one almost anywhere. This is fairly close to what I did, except instead of a netbook I took an Asus U...

Re: Shoppers' Paralysis (help me choose a computer)

*snip* Okay. So, you're recommending on doing every possible upgrade to make a MacBook Pro worse, and therefore are saying MacBook Pros are worse. Kthx. Next time, don't use a strawman. Sony is a lot worse than I'm implicating it to be, because I cannot share my honest feelings about Sony products ...
