Re: The depressing depression thread

Oh no! :( That sounds really rough. I can't offer any advice or anything, but just know that if you need to vent here more, we're listening and hope you feel better. Let me know if there's anything I can do!

Re: The General Chat thread

Haha, yeah, I was at Science World all the time as a kid too. Sounds like you're having a good time! :) Don't really know about poutine in that area but there are definitely good thrift shops all over here.

And glad the musical interested you, let me know if you see it! :D

Re: The General Chat thread

Yeahhh, I've lived within an hour of Vancouver my whole life and try to avoid navigating there when I can avoid it. :P I might be able to suggest some places to go, what kind of things are you looking for, and do you have access to a car or just public transit? Science World is probably the most obv...

Re: The General Chat thread

Hey Beramode, great to see you back! And that's awesome, you picked a good time to be here, the whole area was a mess with snow a few weeks back but now I think we're in for a nice stretch. :) Any big plans while you're in the area?

Re: The General Chat thread

Like you don't want us to know it's you confessing, or you don't want it "out there" linked with your name? I have for the second, yeah, for sure. With the venting thread too. There've been times where I don't have a good outlet to say something to anyone I know in person and want to share...

Re: Seventh Annual Secret Santa: Sign ups Closed

So it turns out Elomin is a benevolent and caring bag-god, and even though I dropped out, he made use of the address I'd sent him to send me some... spreads? http://i617.photobucket.com/albums/tt257/jamfalcon/2017-01-03%2016-30-04.292_zps5a8h3lfl.jpg Alcohol infused and tasty looking, but also kinda...

Haha, no, I think we're pretty much the same age. I took some time off school between high school and university, so I'm the old man in my classes.

Re: Arclight_Dynamo's Sports Journey

And, yeah, I'd love to give playing it myself a shot some time. There are a number of clubs here in town... I just can't quite justify the multi-hundred dollar club fees, plus equipment costs, at the moment. Maybe I'll be in a position to do so next winter. Here's hoping. You definitely should! It'...

Re: Arclight_Dynamo's Sports Journey

I grew up in a pretty sportsless household (my grandpa watches a lot, but I never really saw a full game of anything), but like you, big fan of curling. I haven't watched a tooon, but I played for most of my teenage years and would definitely like to go back some day. It just seems like a much more ...

Wow, you're a really good singer! Reminds me of the vocals from the band iamthemorning, who I like a lot.

The Sonic one's my favourite, but that's probably in part because it's the only one I knew before. :P

Re: The General Chat thread

Hey, so I have a short survey about current events that I made for a school project. If anyone has a spare two minutes to fill it out (and maybe share?) that'd be a huge help. If you have any questions, let me know! Thanks!

Edit: closed it down to analyze, thanks everyone :)
