I love Spokane but I`ve never seen it like this before.

I always try to go to this store called `The White Elephant` whenever I`m in town.

I take that back then. Keep in mind that I was mostly going by Matt's complaints there. I know very little about BC outside of LRR. My dig at Toronto still stands though. I've lived there, I know what it's like (thankfully I had moved before they called in the army). No worries. BC`s pretty big so ...

Yet our Worship leader, a CANADIAN-BORN citizen who's lived in this area for a while, refuses to leave the house if there is more than an inch of snow on the ground. Odds are he's either from Toronto or BC then. What you meant to say here was that he's probably a Coastie. The interior and north of ...

So, as I understand it, in Canada, you can still wear Balaclavas when it gets really cold. I was just thinking the other day how I wish we could do that here in the states. But here, if you put a ski mask on, it doesn't matter HOW cold it is, people will automatically go "oh crap! Robber!"...

I laughed through this whole vid. It also looked like Jer had a tough time keeping a straight face.

The tree looks awesome but where did Nate get that hideous sweater?

Also, did you guys get Paul's jacket at that Antique shop on Government by any chance?

Re: Important birthdays

It is my twenty third birthday today. Almost as importantly it is also The Hitman's as well. I think it is jtaylor's around now as well. Guess what I get to do on my birthday? Go write an exam on galactic astronomy. Well Happy Birthday you Sagittarius you. As for myself, only three days to go. Fixed.

Seriously? I would think Vancouver would have more plows than us as we're "The Island".

My understanding for order of plowing is emergency roads (ones that lead to hospitals), main roads, everything else not including rural areas.

At least you have a number of plows. The running joke in Victoria is we've got one plow. This helps explain why certain roads never seem to get plowed.

I drove to work because I'm stupid and when I came out, my door was frozen shut. Fortunately the passenger side wasn't. Then I had to drive home, inching along the road while crazy Victorians whiz by. What is wrong with you people? You get two days of snow and suddenly you think you're Manitobans. A...

Mussorgsky is one of my favourite composers & I looooove Night on a Bald Mountain. Bonus points to Jillers for finding the top 11 list from That Guy With The Glasses. I can't listen to Night on a Bald Mountain because of Fantasia. Thanks for the nightmares Disney. This terrified me as a child.

You are all wimps. I got two snow days, ever. Both times it snowed 3 feet over night. I have had to go to school when there was 16 inches, not wimpy centimeters, of snow on the ground. I've had one snow day, only one and I won't be getting any more as I'm out of school. I imagine snow in Colorado i...

School closed here fairly often when it snowed as a kid, as I recall. Unfortunately, UVic will never close for snow until the temperature drops below the temperature of the frozen, shriveled hearts of the administrative staff, who I am convinced live in a kingdom of ice below the surface of the ear...

I feel to truly qualify for the name 'heavy duty hot chocolate' it should be drunk from the skull of one of your enemies while you sit on an iron throne. This throne would have spikes on it. ...

This is by far my favourite Rapidfire! I loved how Paul told one student he couldn't look him in the face, despite that student looking eerily like him. I also couldn't stop laughing when he punched Matt.

Kathleen isn't credited as appearing in the vid though.

In Victoria everything shuts down if it snows or if it looks like it's going to snow or if someone remembers a time when it snowed. Still, it's gorgeous outside! The perfect hot chocolate day. Snow!

I walked home last night thinking the conditions were perfect for snow. It even smelled like snow, which I know sounds weird.

My car is buried, I'm not going to risk driving anywhere today as the plows haven't come by my place yet but it finally feels like Christmas here in Victoria.
