I love Spokane but I`ve never seen it like this before.
I always try to go to this store called `The White Elephant` whenever I`m in town.

I take that back then. Keep in mind that I was mostly going by Matt's complaints there. I know very little about BC outside of LRR. My dig at Toronto still stands though. I've lived there, I know what it's like (thankfully I had moved before they called in the army). No worries. BC`s pretty big so ...

Yet our Worship leader, a CANADIAN-BORN citizen who's lived in this area for a while, refuses to leave the house if there is more than an inch of snow on the ground. Odds are he's either from Toronto or BC then. What you meant to say here was that he's probably a Coastie. The interior and north of ...

Vivaldi's pretty cool but I'll take solstices over equinoxes any day.

I drove to work because I'm stupid and when I came out, my door was frozen shut. Fortunately the passenger side wasn't. Then I had to drive home, inching along the road while crazy Victorians whiz by. What is wrong with you people? You get two days of snow and suddenly you think you're Manitobans. A...

You are all wimps. I got two snow days, ever. Both times it snowed 3 feet over night. I have had to go to school when there was 16 inches, not wimpy centimeters, of snow on the ground. I've had one snow day, only one and I won't be getting any more as I'm out of school. I imagine snow in Colorado i...

School closed here fairly often when it snowed as a kid, as I recall. Unfortunately, UVic will never close for snow until the temperature drops below the temperature of the frozen, shriveled hearts of the administrative staff, who I am convinced live in a kingdom of ice below the surface of the ear...

From what I understand, heavy duty hot chocolate involves melting actual chocolate and mixing it with milk. I feel to truly qualify for the name 'heavy duty hot chocolate' it should be drunk from the skull of one of your enemies while you sit on an iron throne. This throne would have spikes on it. ...

In Victoria everything shuts down if it snows or if it looks like it's going to snow or if someone remembers a time when it snowed. Still, it's gorgeous outside! The perfect hot chocolate day. Yeah, nobody has snow tires but it was really pretty out this morning and rare to see as it rarely snows h...

Snow!
I walked home last night thinking the conditions were perfect for snow. It even smelled like snow, which I know sounds weird.
My car is buried, I'm not going to risk driving anywhere today as the plows haven't come by my place yet but it finally feels like Christmas here in Victoria.
