Re: The Loading Ready Run Kickstarter
Is it sad/weird that I'm already on the Twitch.tv page waiting for the livestream to start? I'm mainly there because I don't trust Twitch's ability to email me, or my ability to pay attention to what time it is, but I'm still way too early to be in the channel.

Re: LRRcast 2013-10-12
Even though I don't read comics, the bit at the end about silver age Jesus or the infinite timeline Jesus had me laughing uncontrollably. Also we need Beej's Malkovich set as some bonus video somehow.

What the over/under percent chance on if we'll make 180k? currently 177,707 with almost 10 hours to go. I think it'll be close but I don't know if I can extrapolate well enough to come up with a good guess.

Re: The Loading Ready Run Kickstarter
the countdown should also start 2 hours before the end of it. So if you know what time it should end in your time zone subtract two hours and that should give you when it will start. Alternatively look at @loadingreadyrun's twitter feed as I can imagine them tweeting when they are going live.

Re: The LoadingReadyRun Podcast Party for One
What I remember from that period (the Jer/D&D guy part starts around 1:43:30ish) was that Jer mentioned it was going to be appended to the end of that weeks LRRcast as bonus content, but that they had gone over time (he mentions that a minute before they end the cast). Still no idea who that guy...

How do you only condemn half a building? My assumption is that if you can safely close off a portion of the building from the rest of it, and have it such that if that portion happens to come down it won't structurally affect the rest of the building, then you can condemn that portion with little i...

And in case you don't know where the report button is its the exclamation mark: "!" to the right of the quote button at the bottom right of the post.

Re: The Loading Ready Run Kickstarter
Oh, it looks like a helpful person has recorded the interview and posted it here , if you missed it (or if you want to relive the excitement). Yeah I'm glad they did because I didn't check twitter this morning and totally missed the interview. I'm wondering what kind of bump LRR might get (if any) ...

Yeah that was done right before they hit their goal (I think it pushed them over it too iirc). Seems like he talked to them about it and they made one specifically for Max. They had a discussion about it on twitter.

Re: Venting Thread Delta - Now With Easy to Follow Rules
Well I didn't expect to have to post here since, relatively speaking, my life isn't that bad off, and the problems I have are mostly relatively minor. However, given what just happened last night I just need to vent. How convenient that we have a venting thread. It wouldn't have been so bad if it wa...

A last second 10 add-on. Maybe an exclusive sketch, or some previously unseen behind the scenes stuff, etc. Something that costs little but you'd happily pay ten bucks for a shot at seeing. Because y'know what? I'm willing to bet that'd cough up an extra grand or two out of us immediately. While I ...

Re: The Loading Ready Run Kickstarter
They could have $200: Paul balances a thing of your choice (within limits) on his head and posts the video online. Yeah even if they don't get the 200,000k level they could add that tier for the followers of TomH to back at. And if they do reach the stretch goal then he could make them extra specia...

That is like the best combination of X ways to Y and a CHustle skit that I could have ever hopped for. The cats playing magic is what killed me. Everything else was amazing but the magic cats just stole the show.

Re: The Loading Ready Run Kickstarter
I'm wondering if we can come up with specific tiers for some of the frequent "non-core" members (assuming they have the time to do it and are willing to help in that way). Like things that are specific to Cam, Beej, Jer, Matt, and Alex (already kind of involved with crapshots) like Kathlee...

The idea is that you get text notifications of tweets, I think. Only way I got a question in. Or you just overly check twitter on your phone at a all times of the day.... I had a question I was going to ask a couple of days before this LRRcast but I promptly forgot about it. The only one I could co...

Went back to read the comments. The spam is hilarious. That was an interesting podcast. It was good to hear from the "non-core" but still super awesome members, and see their perspective on stuff. I hope the Lava Bears gets funded if for no other reason that there will be more Jer in LRR. OT: thanks for the link Lurkon I lost too much time rea...

Re: Friday Nights: Hero's Path - The Threshold
This makes me think: Is the Friday Nights Universe the same as the cHustleverse? It was originally (if you look at their list of CHustle videos on the site the first season is part of that). I'm not sure if they are fully continuing that idea (as in if its in CHustle canon) or if its just similar c...

I personally think their own table. don't have a chance to check the current layout vis-a-vis before seaons two or after season one. but wherever makes the most sense that it was done during season two (and thus isnt season three or something crazy since its really like Season 2B or something).

Re: Remember Me, Part 2
Yeah someone mentioned that on the Escapist forums. Certainly a crematorium would be a better use of materials (I guess they don't recycle those coffins so they have to keep making new ones?). Why do they send them down a river and why are some of them still alive (or at least undead)? The cutscene ...
