Re: Heroes Unlimited Play By Post?
Belgarion, you are correct that that change is fine. theknightofiron, if you're okay with PM assistance, we can fire back and forth at any time. If you'd like live assistance, that will depend a bit on which time zone you are in? I just finished a 6 day straight run at my work, and I'm back for anot...

Re: Heroes Unlimited Play By Post?
theknightofiron, you were actually the one I meant when I said I was waiting on one more to chime in. Glad to see you're still on board. I'm setting a goal of resuming this immediately following Desert Bus. In the mean time, I will be looking for new interest and putting forth some suggestions on ho...

We'll stand a better chance of fusing into Humagodzillizard if we stand together as one, at least.

Nope. Still one person who had expressed interest who hasn't commented, so I was waiting on a reply there while simultaneously debating methods of investigating new interest.

Re: Heroes Unlimited Play By Post?
I apologize, everyone. Life has been wearing at me lately, and for a while it was all I could do to keep myself going to work every day. I seem to be in a better position now, so if anyone would like to continue, we can. I will be adapting the setting to account for the passage of time and to allow ...

Re: Heroes Unlimited Gameplay Thread
A voice, tinny and mechanical and entirely too loud, came from somewhere nearby. The world seemed far too bright, as if someone had switched on the sun after years of complete darkness. Even the scent of the air, tainted with the smell of too many cleaning chemicals, was overwhelming. "... And ...

Ah, okay. That sounds horribly confusing, but would explain why my grandmother was sharing images with the incorrect (locally, at least) date for the fall back.

Re: LRR Minecraft Server
If you want to play modded Minecraft, I strongly recommend you see about getting a 64 bit version of Java. When I made the swap, I was suddenly able to play with twice as many mods before experiencing issues.

Re: LRR Minecraft Server
Personally, I'm in favor of a new map with 1.9's eventual release. That's still some time off, though.

Re: LRR Minecraft Server
Wokenclick: Your portal will be about 1/8th the distance away from everyone else that it is in the Overworld. Even if you're right at the edge of the world, you'll have to travel less than 1000 blocks to get back to spawn, versus approximately 7700 in the Overworld. That's drastically closer. =) Six...

Re: LRR Minecraft Server
For the record, Y is your elevation, which we won't really need here. Actually, this is no longer entirely true. It's important to take this into account, as portals now measure height as well as horizontal distance in order to determine where they spit you out. Always try to make sure your portals...

No word from any server mods. Hmm... The server itself has been pretty quiet when I've visited it, too. Are people not really playing anymore?

Re: Design a Card
A silly card, loosely inspired by the absurd amount of freight my store receives every day: Goblin Pack Mule - 2R Creature - Goblin Goblin Pack Mule can't attack or block. Equipment attached to Goblin Pack Mule has "0: Attach this card to target creature you control." "Pick it up, put...

Re: Bbattle for Zendikar Prerelease
Went to 2HG tonight with my girlfriend. Our pools were decent, and our store has you and your partner put your pools together before building your decks - I'm not sure if that's a typical thing for 2HG. Both I and a fellow three seats down from me opened expeditions - I'm not sure what his was, but ...

In regards to the PSU, that was selected based on an article I read that suggested that you generally want your system's consum...

Re: Gaming Desktop Advice
Thank you for the extra information. I think the only game I play that tends to run into CPU issues is Dwarf Fortress, which isn't multithreaded and can't effectively use additional cores or benefit from better graphics cards.

So far I haven't been able to find any Canadian suppliers of computers using I7 6700k processors, other than ibuypower or Cyberpower, both of which have some extremely negative reviews (ranging from power supplies that explode after a week or two of use to items delivered broken that they refuse to ...

That's a pretty impressive site, Master Gunner! It is, however, a bit over my head. I've tried to put something together on there, but the further I go, the more I feel I need to do research just to get started. I think I'll stick with prebuilt, at least for now. Additionally, NCIX's PC builder site...

Re: Magic the Gathering: Ask a Judge
As per the Gatherer ruling pertaining to multiple Prophets, the answer is no: Controlling more than one Prophet of Kruphix doesn’t allow you to untap any creature or land more than once during a single untap step. Additionally, players do not receive priority during the Untap step, meaning you canno...

Re: LRR Minecraft Server
Throughout my Minecraft career, I've fairly consistently found that I get the most enjoyment out of building things in creative mode. At the same time, I'd really like to be around and interact with the LRR Minecraft community while I'm playing. Feel free to say no, of course, and would it be possib...
