I would gladly play table tops if I could find people to do so with, my friends apparently aren't as big of geeks as I. If you have a Games Workshop store or local gaming club nearby where you are I find that's a great way to get involved. Games Workshops over here normally have one 'vets night' a ...

Tabletop gaming

Given how wide the subforum title is, I felt that this would fit in here. I was wondering if there were any fellow forum-ers that were into tabletop wargames in all their manifold forms, be it historical, high fantasy or sci-fi. I personally collect* Warhammer Fantasy and 40k: High Elves, Wood Elves...

Where have I heard that before? And is that Biggles in your avatar? It's Hex from Terry Pratchett's Hogfather (although he may have taken it from somewhere: you never can tell with Pratchett) And yes, my avatar is Donald Sutherland, playing Oddball in Kelly's Heroes (truly brilliant WW2 spoof: hear...

My personal recommendation with the new Dr Who, would be to watch Christopher Ecclestone's series, all episodes written by Stephen Moffat (Blink is a work of genius) and the Family of Blood 2 parter. Anything else is largely optional as the quality is very hit and miss. edit: oh, I also have to agre...
